3 Days in Magical Kyoto πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ | Bamboo Forest, Temples & Hidden Gems!

[Music] hi and welcome to our video of how we spent 3 days in Kyoto we started off from Hakonei on a bullet train and saw some nice views of Mount Fuji once we got there we checked in our room and went to San Bontori Shrine also known as the Thousand Tori Gate there were a lot of people when we got there but as we started climbing up the crowd disappeared [Music] the gates look absolutely stunning as you go through them and there are several shrines along the way [Music] on the way back we decided to wait for sunset overlooking the sea after that we continued down in the dark and seeing the gates in the dark is definitely an experience the next morning we started our journey by visiting the bamboo forest we went around 9:00 a.m and it was already getting crowded so I would suggest to come even earlier to avoid the crowd we also visited Tenuji Temple which is located in the same area they have a beautiful garden that you can walk around with a pond in the center you can also go inside the temple to see what a traditional Japanese temple looks like from here we walked across the bridge to get to the monkey park there are quite a few steps to climb to get up to the actual park but once there there are so many monkeys and they are roaming all over the place you can even feed them by by buying food for 100 yen we also saw a cute little monkey fight [Music] after this we visited Nejo Castle which has very vibrant golden colors [Music] at night time we we visited Gueon district it was very lively with a lot of people walking around and lots of restaurants and bars we also went to Yasaka Shrine at night it looks absolutely beautiful [Music] the next morning we took a bus back to Gillion District for a tea ceremony we also rented kimonos for the entire day definitely don’t miss out on this experience if you’re in Kyoto they teach you how to make matcha and give you some delicious sweets after the ceremony we continued the journey with our kimonos to Kio Mizua Temple it was super busy as it was during the afternoon time it was a good place to buy souvenirs and get some good food here we got some classic vegan ramen for ourselves from a Japanese style restaurant from here we went to Sanju San Gendo Temple which not a lot of people talk about but it was one of the best temples we visited it has a thousand1 statues of Kanan with a giant statue of Senju Kanan at night we visited Nishiki Market starting with the PokΓ©mon Center we ended our night with eating guoza here next morning we visited King Dakuji the famous golden temple it’s located in a very beautiful setting and the surrounding is gorgeous after this we took an afternoon train to Osaka follow the channel to see the next adventure
