I FOUND THE MOST ISOLATED VILLAGE ON EARTH – BREAD COST 20 EUROS.
Hello dear friends, welcome to the most isolated villages in the Swiss mountains, let’s explore them together. This is probably where the locals eat. A true paradise in the heart of the mountains These wonderful fragrant roses are a gift to you ❤️ Many waterfalls flowing from the heart of glaciers These villages are inhabited by shepherds and mountain farmers. There are houses that have been continuously inhabited for over 400 years. Every village has local stories about spirits, witches, and mountain legends. This place is very mysterious.🤔 In this village, bread is made in an oven that is over 300 years old, it is the only place where you can find bread, and the price is 20 euros for two pieces of bread. Very good, reminds me of my childhood🤗 Chestnut trees are sacred and essential for survival.Chestnuts were used to make flour, pasta, bread, and even beer. In the past, cows slept in the same space as humans for warmth. For me this is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, I am very impressed. This village has only 30 inhabitants. I think this is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. Here, time has learned to move more slowly. Local products, made right on the farm next door, you can help yourself and leave the money in a box I think this calf is newborn, it’s the first time it’s been out on the meadow. The mountains watch over these villages like guardians of the past. Stone houses speak only to those who know how to listen. Here, the mountain’s childhood never ended. Here, the silence is so deep that you can hear the past. In every stone corner you can feel the soul of the mountain. A place where stone is older than written history. The silence of these villages is more telling than any words. Every house has a soul, every stone – a memory. The old houses seemed to me like wise elders waiting to be listened to. This is the house where I lived for 10 days, a traditional Swiss house, over 200 years old. I send you greetings from here in the heart of the mountains 🤗 The villages of Ticino are not places… they are stories wrapped in stone. And if you’ve made it this far, it’s clear that you long for peace. A trip to these villages is a return to your soul. I didn’t meet people, but I felt their presence in every corner. A local woman invited him to her house. A journey to the past, but also a lesson in simplicity. In these villages, old age is beautiful, and time is a gentle friend. It was more than a journey – it was an encounter with the eternal. 🥺🥺 I thank you for being with me, I love you, see you soon, with much respect, Sebastian

SWITZERLAND – THE LIFE IN THE SWISS MOUNTAINS – EXPLORING A HIDDEN SWISS PARADISE
🌲 Life in the remote villages of Ticino
In the canton of Ticino, in southern Switzerland, life in the remote villages is a story in itself. Nestled along deep valleys — Valle Verzasca, Valle Maggia, Val Bavona or Val Lavizzara — these villages have a rough, simple beauty, where the mountains dictate the pace of life, and people live according to unwritten laws inherited from their ancestors.
🏡 The houses
The villages are made up of houses made of local stone, called rustici. They have roofs made of heavy stone slabs, designed to withstand harsh winters and strong winds. Many of them have small windows with painted wooden shutters and massive, hand-carved doors.
In the past, each house had a main room with a large stone oven, where bread was baked once a week. Cold cellars were used to store cheeses and smoked meats.
🌿 Food
The people here live off what the mountains offer:
Goat and cow cheese, matured in natural caves.
Polenta (cornmeal polenta) cooked in heavy copper pots, usually with butter and melted cheese.
Chestnuts, which are roasted in the fall and preserved over the winter. In the past, chestnuts were a staple food, used in soups, cakes or dried.
Forest mushrooms, picked in the summer and fall, dried on wooden slats.
Game meat: deer, wild boar or mountain goats.
📜 Customs and traditions
Isolation has preserved customs that have been lost in other parts of Europe:
The Transhumance Festival, when shepherds bring their animals down from the mountains in the fall, is an eagerly awaited event, with bonfires, songs and local wine.
Winter vigils, when people gather in their homes to tell old legends by the light of gas lamps.
Chestnut fairs in October, when each village exhibits its harvest.
❄️ Winters
Winter is harsh and silent. The snow starts at the end of November and sometimes lasts until April. Roads close, and villages become completely isolated. In some places, the only connection to the world below is by dog sled or helicopter, in case of emergency.
📴 Isolation
There is not a phone or internet signal everywhere. In some villages in the Valle Bavona, for example, there is not even electricity — people use gas lamps and solar panels for the bare necessities.
🌄 Ticino of old times
Many young people left these villages in the 20th century, migrating to the cities or abroad. But in recent years, Ticino’s isolated villages have begun to attract artists, nature lovers and people looking to escape the fast pace of the modern world.

It’s hard to imagine a place this isolated still exists. Life there moves differently — slower, quieter, and so far from everything we’re used to. And 20 euros for bread? That really puts things into perspective.
Would you ever want to experience life in a place like this, even just for a few days? I think I would
