Japanese Pornstar Asuka Kirara BREAKS Silence On ‘Prostitution’ With Ex-The Boyz’s Member Ju Haknyeon; Netizens Laud Her ‘Bravery’
As the prostitution scandal involving former The Boyz member Ju Haknyeon heats up, Japanese AV actress Asuka Kirara has broken silence on the matter. She revealed her stand in the controversy involving her and the K-pop artist through social media.
On June 20, Asuka took to her X (formerly Twitter) handle and reacted, calling it all “baseless”. The 27-year-old clarified that she did not have s*x with Haknyeon or anyone else for money ever. She noted that the Japanese Shūkan Bunshun is yet to officially publish anything yet, and that her photo with Haknyeon and others was sold to the tabloid by someone.
Asuka Kirara’s clarification
Asuka’s post in Japaense language roughly translated to: “There are a lot of speculations going around, but the Shukan Bunshun article hasn’t come out yet. Please don’t spread false information. I have never once in my life engaged in paid sex acts (prostitution) in private.
Of course, this time too. A woman who was there for the first time seemed to like Hanyoung, so she had her photo taken and sold to Bunshun. There are baseless speculations running rampant, but the Shūkan Bunshun has yet to release any reports on this matter. So please do not spread false information. I have never once accepted money for private sexual services in my life. That goes without saying for this recent issue as well. It is my belief that a woman I met for the first time that day seemed to have a crush on Hak Nyeon, and so she took a photo and sold it to Shūkan Bunshu.”
Netizens react to Asuka’s statement
Many X users reacted over the entire controversy that has left the internet buzzing. One netizen wrote, “I’m sorry you were dragged into this mess. You didn’t deserve any of this. It must have been difficult for you to speak up, but you did, thank you so much.” Another one said, “Oh my god thank you for speaking up about this issue!! I’m so sorry you had to be dragged into this…. you don’t deserve any of the hate that must have been thrown at you. Thank you for being such a brave and strong woman, take care of yourself and stay healthy and safe.” One mre user added, “I’m deeply sorry you got dragged into this. What they did was extremely evil and misogynistic. Thank you so much for speaking up.”
A fan of Haknyeon expressed, “Your statement has brought relief to many of us who trusted Haknyeon’s integrity, and it reminds us of the importance of not judging without evidence. Thank you for not allowing silence to prevail and for providing clarity when it was most needed.”
Ju Haknyeon takes action
On June 20, Haknyeon initiated legal proceedings following the prostitution scandal. After denying the allegations and accusing his agency of wrongful contract termination, he sued a journalist for slander. Agency One Hundred Label has countered with claims of false accusations and plans to take legal action against him.
