Hello everyone, konnichiwa! Thank you for watching our video. Today we walk around Tennoji and Abeno stations, the 3rd biggest city in Osaka. We start in front of Abeno Harukas – Which is the 2nd highest skyscraper in Japan. After hanging around Ten-Shiba for a while, We explore the area called Ura-Tennoji, where has many retro eateries. Tennoji is a hub between Osaka and southern Kansai, such as Nara and Wakayama. Also it is easy to access from here to the centre of Osaka and touristic spots like Shinsekai or Namba. There is a big university near this station so both young and old, tourists and locals are gathering here. Now we are getting into Ten-Shiba. You can see Tsutenkaku, the iconic tower in Shinsekai over the park. If the weather is good, many people come here to picnic. There is a futsal park. We are back to the entrance of Ten-Shiba. We are heading to Ura Tennoji area. This is another entrance of Tennoji station. Here is in front of the gates of Japan Railways gates. There are many shopping malls and department store next to the station. Souvenir shop You can see red or green lines on the floor. They are showing how to transfer other subways. Enjoy the walking tour in Tennoji, one of Osaka’s most vibrant and diverse areas.

We start at the pedestrian bridge near Tennoji Station, then head to Tenshiba, a green open space filled with cafés, playgrounds, and great views of Abeno Harukas — One of the Japan’s tallest skyscrapers. From the park, you can look up and see this iconic building towering above the city skyline.

After a full loop around Tenshiba, we explore the Hanwa Shopping Street, a nostalgic backstreet area known as “Ura-Tennoji”. It’s a favorite local spot, packed with small eateries, standing bars, and retro charm — especially lively on weekends.

Our walk finishes where we began, at Tennoji Station, offering a full circle through both modern and old-school Osaka.

大阪の中でも特に個性豊かなエリア、天王寺に来たら是非立ち寄るべき場所をめぐるお散歩動画です。

出発は天王寺駅前交差点の陸橋からスタートしています。まず向かうのは、緑に囲まれた開放的な空間「てんしば」。カフェや広場、子ども向けの遊び場もあり、天王寺のランドマーク「あべのハルカス」を見上げる絶景スポットとしても人気です。日本で２番目に高い超高層ビルが、空に向かってそびえ立つ姿は圧巻です。

てんしばをぐるりと一周したあとは、「裏天王寺」と呼ばれるローカル感あふれる阪和商店街を散策。昔ながらの居酒屋や立ち飲み屋、個人経営の店が立ち並び、特に週末は多くの人で賑わいます。

最後は、再び天王寺駅前交差点へ戻ります。
