The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Kiyomizu near Kiyomizu-dera Temple has opened a new “SUSHI-BAR” with a new menu of colorful Temari-zushi sushi.

The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Shimizu (Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto), a luxury hotel located in Higashiyama, Kyoto, where the streets of the ancient capital are beautiful, was built in 1933 in the former Shimizu Elementary School building. The former auditorium was converted into a restaurant [Library], designed in the motif of a library, which used to be a breakfast restaurant exclusively for hotel guests, but is now open to visitors as “SUSHI-BAR”.
In addition to enjoying nigiri and a la carte dishes in a modern and casual setting, the restaurant will begin offering a Temari Sushi course on Tuesday, April 1, 2024.
