Virtual Tour in JAPAN | Traveling from LA to Iwamuro, Niigata

The sky view of Los Angeles! Landing in Japan from LA! We’re heading back to Niigata from Tokyo on the Hokuriku Expressway! “Aoshima Shokudo” is one of the famous ramen in Nagaoka! We ordered Soy Sauce based soup with shoga(ginger) and it’s really delicious! About 1200 Yen and I think you need cash here. We are heading to “binn” in Yahiko, which serves the best coffee in Niigata!!! The atmosphere and coffee are great! After the coffee place, we are having a whiskey time at Himesayuri Forest Park in Shitada. We stayed over the night at Camping ground!!! May in Iwamuro and Wano is a beautiful month as the fields are flooded with water for rice planting. Dairo no Yu is a day-trip hot spring with genuine free-flowing spring water. This hidden bar cottage is always a favorite spot for birthdays and other celebrations. I recommend the demi-glace omurice! At Ganzenji Temple, people come to visit their ancestors’ graves every year during Obon (August 13th). Suehiro Confectionery is a company that makes rice crackers. Here is the “Hokkoku Kaido” road was established by the Yamato Imperial Court and developed by Uesugi Kenshin. “Shugetsuji”(種月寺) in Nishikan Ward, was one of an old temple founded by Nan’ei Kenshu in Bun’an 3 (1446) and was once counted as one of the four major training centers of the Soto sect in Echigo (Koun-ji Temple, Untoan Temple, Jiko-ji Temple, and Tanegatsu-ji Temple). It is regarded as a representative example of Soto sect main hall architecture in Niigata Prefecture, and was designated an Important Cultural Property of Japan in 1989. Iwamuro Onsen is also known as “Reigan no Yu.” This is where the hiking trail to Mount Tahou begins!!! If you are looking for gelato in Iwamuro, come here! Gelateria Regalo is for you! This is where the Wano Jugoya Festival and Kusa Fireworks are held in the summer!
