From Tokyo to the Tohoku region – impressions from my trip

2,5 minutes of Tokyo, Bandai Atami, Aizuwakamatsu, Sendai, Matsushima, Yamadera and Soma.

I was in Japan for about 2 weeks in May 2025. The Sanja Matsuri in Asakusa took place during this period. Afterwards I went to the onsen place Bandai Atami. I spent several days in Sendai and went on day trips. The last special event was the Soma Nomaoi, where riders in traditional gear compete against each other.
