Arriving in Tokyo: cherry blossoms, hotel room tour, exploring shinjuku & shibuya
heat hey hey hey [Music] [Applause] okay so we made it on the plane look at on the United flight they give us a nice pillow here and we got a blanket too we safely got on a plane no issues now time to sleep cuz I’m so tired [Music] i can’t get enough no I can’t get enough now I’m falling in love you’re all I’m thinking of taking my time messing my life swear I don’t mind say that you’ll stay holding me close swear it’s all right yeah baby i feel the rush everything so I got pasta red sauce chicken and rice that’s pretty good [Music] we’re finally off the plane so what time is it right now like 2:00 yeah 2 3 2 p.m over here in Arita Japan so we’re heading to go get our check in luggage [Music] oh I love this Nintendo [Music] store we didn’t drink a lot of water first thing we got in Japan from Mini Stop Bito snack some electric [Music] so we’re taking um the bus to our hotel [Music] you’re going to miss it this chocolate was good [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] look it we made it okay so our first hotel is in Shibuya wait is this in it’s uh technically in Shibuya it’s like Shibuya and it’s the Hotel Century Tower all the way we’re going to the 20th floor look at this well hotel starts at the 20th floor the lobby’s at the 20th floor and then the rooms go all the way up yeah we were on a 13hour flight so since it is our engagement um Jay put in the notes so they gave us like one of the very top floors so we’re on floor 34 34 out of 35 yay woo we made it oh my gosh yay we’re so tired i know but we still have to go eat and then we’re going to try to stay up till like 8 or 9 yeah here’s our room it’s a little tight but it’s okay wow check it out let’s open those curtains show off our view wow such a beautiful view oh my you can see the uh the sky tree Tokyo Sky Tree in the very lower back wow so what do you think impressed yeah it’s super beautiful such a great view look at I think that’s Shabuya Sky right no that’s the uh Tokyo Sky Tree tiger Tokyo Sky Tree wow beautiful see we have cherry blossom in the background um I didn’t notice this at first but they also give you this um kind of like piece of paper that shows off your skyline in your in your room and points out everything um of note you know so that tower there is the NT Docomo Yoyo Yogi building yeah tokyo Skytree Shinjjuku National Garden a lot of these we’re gonna you know I’ll check out Shinjuku Station right here shibuya area on the right yeah for both of us okay that Oh look oh wow is it a onesie it’s kind of like a onesie dress that’s fun okay cute and then check out the bathroom yeah perfect mirror i can do my makeup vanity for Boo yeah vanity and there’s some coffee oops yeah let’s check out the bathroom okay oh wow it’s pretty good looking um you know liquid cleansing moisturizers lotion and then bunch of need oh hair brush actually I needed a hairbrush oh razors oh yeah some say some of the soaps like I didn’t need to pack and they gave us two toothbrushes too which is nice and then the soaps pretty standard bathroom it’s a little bit I love this cute clock in the bathroom it is a little bit tight but it’s okay cuz it’s just two of us and it’s just standard for maybe with a family i feel like it might be really you know small but for two people it’s doable and yeah oh it comes with slippers too two slippers for each very cute so there you go we’ll just take it out and oh this Oh here look this is kind of neat it’s like air freshener deodorant spray so I don’t know if your clothes kind of smell kind of stinky from all the walking oh no wow night life super busy honestly the most busiest place I’ve ever been we’re more busy than like me i don’t think we can We can go this way we can’t go this way okay we can eat look at all the fantast [Music] Oh they have fantasy [Music] oh I like this Lapras one look at this wow oh my goodness i love this but that’s too big i know oh look at the cinnamon [Music] i know that’s That’s too big there’s no way we can carry that should we keep going our first um Tokyo revolving sushi that’s not cur it’s pretty good so far fish is so much better [Music] [Music] it’s pretty here you can just kind of like serve yourself they have the plates they have wipes green tea make your own green tea and then in this box [Music] chopsticks they have chopsticks toothpicks too and I love how they have this pineapple on [Music] this one’s really salty mhm this is the rea sushi we ate pretty good captain sushi nubazuku [Music] all right here’s the 3D ocean this uniclo store they have flowers here look how beautiful the flowers are wow or like this design it looks like a cherry blossom [Music] they have you can get like little bouquets here you all want me to get Okay good morning everyone so this is Saturday right now our second day and we’re going to go to do a photo shoot for our engagement and yeah it is about 6:00 it’s empty yeah it’s super empty usually super crowded so different than It’s actually really peaceful here’s our outfits it’s so relaxing right now [Music] not sure what line we’re going on it comes and goes in the blink of an eye soon as I swear you’ve been left behind all the colors come back so bright wish I could keep you in black and white to like a picture in a drawer i don’t want to look at anymore it’s too hard to ignore i’ll never feel like yours we’re at We’re at Lawson right now have teriyak chicken eggs [Music] see over here some pastries [Music] [Music] we should share a sandwich together huh sandwich you don’t need water i don’t know what you do with trash we have an Otani Otani Otani green tea advertisement up here too otani vending machine you notice the bird the crows like they’re so loud here or maybe cuz it’s so quiet in the morning curry pork cutlet on that’s what I’m trying hey guys so I got kind of like um got a udon with tempura and then this is like a curry with pork cutlet it’s really like a katu [Music] so Sarah got some soba udon soba udon with some fish tempura very lightweight too [Music] yes so we’re heading to Chi Dori for Gucci Park going to see some more cherry blossoms we already did Yoyo Yogi Park for a photo shoot today and now we’re going to take a boat ride so Wow are we the regular boat yeah regular boat okay wow the There’s so many yeah it’s really crowded right now what time is it right now like 10 yeah 10:00 10 and then we’re going to go onto the boat soon look at that [Music] literally full bloom sunny day he was so worried that the cherry blossoms were going to fall out cuz it was raining last week but they somehow survived full bloom perfect literally looks like straight out of a booster it’s so beautiful and the weather is perfect let’s go [Music] preurchased [Music] digital bow and they just started it this year right yeah first year where you could do it first year where you can do it otherwise everyone has to wait in the 3-hour line yeah that you have to wait in this 3hour line the boat ride here so we have reservations at 10:30 so they want us to be there exactly on time so if you try to go earlier like 10 minutes earlier they won’t let you in it’s okay i’m glad we just have a reservation awesome oh they give you a little number oh yeah and then we had sock i already put it in my purse cuz I don’t want to get away this one one’s so cute they have some really nice long ones too right now it’s only 10:46 we have till 11:30 yeah think just enough time to do a full lock all right so we’re at kind of the end of the moat but it’s a got a really nice view of the whole uh Chidori Gapuchi moat area all the the line of trees my fiance right here beautiful beautiful and I’m so glad we made the reservation cuz the line would have been like 2 3 hours yeah the line was like experience was really 2 three hour line and you know this is worth a slight upcharge to reserve saves us a lot of time beautiful day too not a single man so up close to the cherry blossom [Music] i don’t want it to complicate i know you’re riding away riding away is there room for us both on the same way heat heat heat [Music] child why oh why oh why would I you barely even why oh why oh why would I would [Music]
