[Music] after a short train ride from Kyoto we arrived in Japan’s third largest city Osaka upon exiting the station to Shin Shabashi it was apparent that we were back in the heart of a major metropolis time to check off another culinary delight from our bingo cards Omarice and what better spot than Hoku where you eat your meal in a traditional setting sound to Tommy Mats one of the dishes we’ve been after since the start of the trip featuring fried rice topped with a fluffy omelette it didn’t [Music] disappoint headed towards Doenbur one of Osaka’s principal tourist destinations doburur dates all the way back to 1612 the district is famous for its nightife and also boasts a number of well-known restaurants shops and other attractions for sightseers to fill their photo albums with including the famous ferris wheel outside of Don Kiote and one of the most well-known landmarks in Osaka the Glyco [Music] Man it just had to be done hey look that’s my name even in the hustle and bustle of a massive city you just never know when you might find yourself a shrine to explore [Music] [Music] looking for some old school entertainment we made our way to the Shinsakai district of Osaka and were greeted by the breathtaken Sutenaku originally built in 1912 before having to be dismantled in 1943 due to a fire the tower as it currently stands was rebuilt in 1956 and stands at 338 ft tall it’s a tower hey look at this look at the tower it’s incredible like what a good shot like when you come out of the station that is the dream [Music]

We make our way from Kyoto to Osaka in Rewind 24 and we waste no time in hitting the ground running and exploring our new surrounds and oh what surroundings they are!

Kaiju Creative is returning to Japan this summer and to celebrate we are rolling the clock back to the start of 2025 when we hit Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka for the first time.

In the lead-up to trip (and video series) number 3 we’re going to be rereleasing continent, bite sized versions of our previous trips and to help us all get back in our Japan mindset…not that it takes much.
