HIROSHIMA travel vlog | my favourite city in JAPAN ⛩️
[Music] [Music] that is hot [Music] [Music] remind [Music] me we’ve just made it to the nest Hotel here it’s like a small boutique hotel we are just going to chill and then explore a little bit of Hiroshima before the sunet so far First Impressions it is a very cute City even just seeing their little light rail was just so adorable it gives me like Hometown vibes [Music] reminds me of [Music] still this is [Music] oh my God chicken and blue cheese [Music] delicious we thoroughly enjoyed exploring Hiroshima First Impressions it is such a beautiful city I think it’s overlooked by a lot of people but dare I say could be possibly one of our favorite cities ending the night with ice cream from Lawson my favorite convenience store in Japan controversial but I will claim that so far Lawson is still our favorite convenience store I don’t know if this is a Lawson brand I’m so simple when it comes to ice cream vanilla is by far my favorite ice cream flavor so let’s give this a go it’s really good and the serving size is huge this is like at least three scoops really good good morning from Hiroshima so today is our first full day here and we’re off to explore some of the museums and monuments and historical sites it goes without saying that there there is a lot of War history here in Hiroshima and Adam is a huge history buff so I’m really excited to explore that with him today out of respect I’m not sure how much I’ll actually film but I also want to take the time to just absorb some of the history of hirosima I can see Adam in the background waiting he’s ready for the history [Music] tour [Music] fore speee [Music] [Music] we’ve just finish seeing the Hiroshima a dome as well as the museum definitely a must visit if you are passing through Hiroshima it was just interesting to step back in time and see the history of everything that’s happened we were pretty heartened to see all the young school kids there as sad and as devastating as what happened in Hiroshima was hopefully the future generation will do a much better job than the current and past Generations now we’ve escaped into a cafe called hono coffee it’s like a cute Jazzy vibe in here it’s really [Music] [Music] nice for [Music] I’m stuck in [Music] it just doing a little bit of shopping after lunch it’s just a little bit too hot to do some sing so it’s a great way to get out of the Sun and it’s nice because everything is under under cover and all connected so you can go from the Department Store to like the little shops around here there’s lots of brands in Hiroshima that I haven’t seen in either Kyoto or Tokyo so it’s definitely fun to explore the shopping theme here so cute also there is a huge vintage shopping scene so if you’re into thrifting definitely consider coming to Hiroshima [Music] s mind [Music] [Music] move slightly that [Music] way we have come for Japanese pancakes this place is a vine it is baseball night and there are so many people out at come [Music] it is baseball night and the local team which is the Hiroshima CS are playing so it is really busy tonight lots of fun VI definitely wor going to a while the but I think they’re losing at the moment so hopefully they can turn it around by the end of dinner so much fun [Music] it is just after the game and the carps did not win but we had an amazing night on left all the fans are spilling out from the station though it’s so cool to see it is her last full day here in Japan it has been an incredible couple of weeks traveling all the way from Tokyo and then exploring Kyoto and now finishing off in Hiroshima Hiroshima has been unexpectedly a surprise I had no expectations coming here and I didn’t know much about the city other than the history and what has happened but it has unexpectedly become one of the highlights of the whole Japan Japan trip if you are coming to Japan do consider including Hiroshima into your itinerary it is such a beautiful city and there is definitely much more to the city than its past and what has happened so for our last day we are heading out to explore a Shinto Shrine I’m going to butcher it so let me quickly look it up it’s called the itsukushima Jinga Shrine definitely leave the correct spelling it is a UNESCO world heritage side and it’s located about an hour outside of Hiroshima so we’re going to catch a train and then a ferry across to go see the shrine let’s head out for another hot hot day here in Japan you possibly but I don’t know if you want [Music] to fore speee spee [Music] spee yeah [Music] had to invest in a hat at the souvenir gift shop because it is just so hot here today I think we underestimated how hot it actually is it’s so pretty being down here and our souvenir bag the Mima pagonia bag we are just walking over to the shrine so everything is very accessible on the island and we just spoted the deers as well you can also see deers on the island it’s incredible just to see the mountain range dip right into the sea like we don’t have that sort of landscape in Australia Australia is quite flat so coming here to Japan seeing the mountains and the Sea come together is just so incredible oh there it is wow apparently it’s not buried into the sea it just rests on the seabed based on its own way [Music] food in your pockets that’ll definitely come after you [Music] [Music] despite how many tourists there are here it’s actually quite peaceful and there’s enough space that everyone can kind of take their own photos look how amazing that is [Music] [Music] me [Music] have stopped by to try out their oysters because apparently they’re famous for their oysters they love lemon maple tree or maple flavor and oysters shout out to all the oyster fans Adam doesn’t eat oysters so he’s just here indulging me yeah I’m here in spirit he’s here in spirit he’s never had an oyer before he’s missing it just to give you guys some reference that’s how big my end is and that’s how big the oysters are they are [Music] huge let’s the shade [Music] it is our last official day here in Japan I’ve just come down to do a little bit of editing for YouTube there are over 1,000 files on here so I’m sure it’s going to be a very long Vlog nonetheless I hope you are enjoying the Japan travel Diaries so we are heading back to Tokyo on the ashin Casen this morning it’s about 4 hours back to Tokyo and then we’ll probably spend the rest of the afternoon just exploring a bit more of Hanid airport and probably doing a bit of last minute shopping surprisingly we still have so much room in our luggage for shopping we’ve actually not really done too much shopping here in Japan time to head back up and pack and then head back out to Tokyo foreign [Music] [Music] and just like that we’re back at Tokyo Station crazy Tokyo Station and we’re trying to make sure we have enough cash to catch the no to catch the train back to for this is what it’s come through after 2 weeks of Japan we’re literally scraping the barrel so we have enough coins to get back to the airport we have enough C collecting all the rest of our coins but it’s super easy to recharge your hard station and keep some Outlet we have made it to Hanid airport and we’re just waiting to board our flight it has been an amazing trip I’m sure I’ve said it so many times already in the Vlog but Japan has well and truly exceeded all expectation it truly is a different world especially Tokyo Tokyo was just insane it is like 10 years into the future it is fitter sweet where sad that it’s the end of the holidays and I have to go back to work um but excited to get back into the routine I hope you have enjoyed the Japan travel Vlogs I’m so sure that I’ll look back very fondly while editing this because there have been so so many incredible experiences and places and so many highlights like I cannot even name them all it feels like we arrived in Tokyo weeks and weeks ago but it was only like 2 weeks ago but so much has happened since then do stay tuned for more videos and I will catch you when we’re back in Sydney [Music] w [Music]
