Angra has reached yet another milestone in its acclaimed career: all three concerts held in Japan as part of the “Temple Of Shadows 20th Anniversary Tour – Interlude” were completely sold out. These performances took place in Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo between June 17 and 19, 2025, and represented unforgettable moments for both the fans and the band.

Following their successful run across Latin America and an enthusiastic response from fans in multiple cities, the band decided to extend the commemorative tour of the classic Temple of Shadows album. This triumphant Japanese leg further reinforces the group’s enduring international impact and legacy.
The tour now continues across Brazil, with performances scheduled from July to August, officially concluding on August 3 at the Tokio Marine Hall in São Paulo. The current lineup of Angra features Rafael Bittencourt (guitar), Felipe Andreoli (bass), Fabio Lione (vocals), Marcelo Barbosa (guitar), and Bruno Valverde (drums).
“Japan has always held a very special place in our career. Witnessing all three shows sell out was incredibly moving and proves that Angra’s music continues to touch people’s hearts, even after two decades,” says guitarist and founding member Rafael Bittencourt.
The band is performing Temple of Shadows in its entirety, along with other highlights from their discography. The album is widely recognized as a landmark in the global metal scene, acclaimed for both its musical content and conceptual depth.
