of Chicago direct and then from Tokyo I’ll be going to Bangkok so come along the boarding time just got updated 30 minutes so we already behind 30 minutes [Music] i was very lucky to get a window free and premium economy [Music] this is really an upgrade from the last time I flew a long haul flight which was from Chicago to Dubai to the Bali i was in the back of the back but I didn’t care as long as I had a window but now I got like leg room and a window and let’s go up the blue happy on this flight can I get a window i’m about to get my own little seat because my seat partner is leaving to go to the other row so I got my own row and I’m excited about that [Music] y’all we’ve made it to Japan i feel like the flight wasn’t that long which is crazy cuz it was 13 hours it was 12 and 1/2 hours 12 hours and 45 minutes i’m not going to say it’s confusing but it’s not the easiest airport and I’m in Haneda i flew into Haneda i did hear this is the busiest time of the year so customs did take a little minute but even then that was quick i am at the Uber stand cuz I wasn’t taking the train it’s too late it’s It’s 11:15 p.m here so I wasn’t taking the train [Music] oh we drive on the other side hello [Music] that’s me that’s my name up there i just got to my room i’m staying at the Opa Hotel in Shinjuku and yes it’s a very very quaint room and I think this is an upgrade y’all so this is like not even their smallest room i think it’s like one level up from the smallest but since I’m a solo traveler I guess it’s perfect except that I have that type of suitcase so I’m going have to open it up i have that type of suitcase so I’m going have to open it up but besides that I’m not going to act let me get the bathroom first before I say something trying to get it all before I say something about the hotel I’m not going to act like I didn’t go to college because in college the rooms are this small and since I’m by myself this is perfect but it said I had a city view let’s see what the view is i paid for city view so let’s see what the city view is they ain’t lie they did not lie this is a nice view i can’t wait to see it in the morning [Music] y’all it is the first day of me in Tokyo i got in at around midnight last night and it’s 8:30 a.m so I’m actually I think I did good with like my sleep cycle cuz now I’m up and I’m rested and it’s 8:00 a.m so I’m like I got sleep for a full day so I’m about to go out and explore i tried to book like one thing a day just to not just to have something to do just to have some direction i wanted to have some direction not just be sitting here just going willy-nilly cuz people be saying like you be walking like in Tokyo but there’s a limit baby there’s a limit like I’m staying in Shinj Shinjuku Shinjjuku Shinjuku but I’m off the beaten path like the main part of Shinjuku is like a 20-minute walk so it’s like everything is like that’s the center so everything is like 10 to 20 minutes from there so that’s 30 minutes walk i ain’t going to be walking them 30 minutes every time I got to go somewhere i’m a 20 minute walker like that’s about a mile like if it’s more than a mile obviously I take the train today’s Friday April 25th i did not know that it was their golden week when I booked the ticket 6 months ago so we going to see if I’m not mistaken like the golden week starts Monday but this is the weekend before so it really feel like it starts today today I have a food tour booked but it’s not till 5:30 so I’m about to get some breakfast cuz the hotel that I’m at they got free breakfast they give me my little meal card every day so I’m going to go get see what the free breakfast talking about why is this so close up i really I need a wide angle lens but yes this is the outfit of the day um since YouTube is supposed to be like the real world I’m waiting for my makeup to dry to do my TikTok which is set up right here but I’mma just Yeah I’mma vlog some of the what you call it so yeah outfit of the day i just threw something together i know people tired of seeing this jersey i don’t care i love it i love it love it love it and then I got my Caros what i got the Cargos and brand new Target sneakers that I love just getting ready to go out for the day day one in Tokyo we are all ready to go out outfit check of the day i’m um finishing up some Tik Tok content but I’m still trying to get the YouTube content [Music] the orange juice is so good and I think it tastes like American orange juice it tastes like American orange juice that’s why I think it tastes so good i got on the right train but I got on the wrong direction i just walked to the other side to get on the right train so now I got to take it two stops cuz I was only going to take it one stop i just flipped the coin and I was like “Which side should I go to?” And I picked the wrong side so don’t flip that coin but yes we trying to get to Shabuya which really was only a 30-minute walk now I’ve been on looking on the train for about 30 minutes i should have just walked there go i don’t sing out [Music] y’all I’m finally made it to Shabuya i’m in line at Flippers to get some of the Shaky Pancakes and it took me almost 2 hours to get here cuz I got on the wrong train and then I thought I got on the right train and it looked like it was still going the same direction as the wrong train so I just got on the the I don’t know the the big line the green line big line in the circle and I got to sh to Shabuya and I already went through the Shabuya crossing which was not as underwhelming but okay I guess now I’m in line at the blippers in Shabuya and two people already left so I don’t know goodness I almost broke down and called Uber but soon as I do that translation and it say 442 American I just be like I need to walk anyway like I’m going to get some food i might as well walk but damn how many pancakes do people eat [Music] i don’t even know what I’m looking for oops sorry don’t even know what I’m looking for i mess with high shoes harbo oh yeah harbo would be in Japanese some vitamin C serum only because every time I see this in the state it’s been through the pure retinol [Music] i’m just cooking up anything but I’m still being strategic should get an umbrella i had to get some of the matcha trying to see what type of stuff I can get without a prescription but I can’t read anything so I don’t know what this is i’m guessing it’s like good i’m on the clothing store y’all we found the goods i found the good i found the the secondhand vintage [Music] i want a Chanel bag i want a Chanel bag and I don’t want to pay more than like 2,000 might as well finish the store i was going to leave after 4:00 i might as well finish i don’t have anything else to do but my feet are starting to hurting and I’m kind of mad because I’m doing a walking tour later japan is not that cheap it’s like I think people just romanticize it so it’s $2900 that’s almost probably about it’s $20 so I guess yeah I’m guessing it’s not that much of a difference but yes Japan is not that cheap like maybe you get a few dollars off of the taxes but equivalent to American prices maybe some things are cheaper but not definitely not everything that’s why like my shopping is this is what I got like [Music] [ __ ] with y’all [ __ ] what y’all talking about getting on the train going everywhere i didn’t order my Uber my [ __ ] feet hurt y crazy as hell my feet hurt my feet hurt i don’t even feel like I walk that much today i order Uber home cuz I’m not about to deal with the train right now wherever he at this my taxi you my taxi what the [ __ ] is this you the taxi you the taxi y’all i took obviously Yeah I recorded the last tip i took a cab i took a taxi from uh where I was at cuz I my feet my feet I was I it was my fault i just did not know how much I would be walking i thought the things that I was going to do I thought like walking to the train and then like walking from the trains to like the distances but I kept getting lost so I did more walking than I did I I needed to um these shoes are usually comfortable but they are literally I I don’t know if you saw like I literally took like the tag off of them right before so that that’ll be it that’ll be it for me being cute from now on if I wear those shoes I’m Ubering i’m Ubering like I figured out like if you use the taxi option cuz I don’t even I think I don’t even know if I recorded that i was getting in that car if he had to kidnap me as long as I got to sit down I didn’t care so um if the Uber is less than $20 I will be Ubering from now on because the trains the trains are a little confusing i can do it i think like maybe No let me take that back if the trains are under like if the Uber is under $20 I’ll do it but um like the trains I’ll take the train back i’ll take the train back but like getting to my destination I I don’t have time to be like looking for stuff i don’t have time for that so I rather just put put the address into the Uber and then just get there and then I’ll figure my way out back but yeah the train system is not for the week i don’t care who told nobody that but I’m about to go to uh Cocoa Curry down the street from my hotel um and get some lunch eat [Music] when I was in the Uber I saw this place on the way it was like down the street from my hotel so we at Cocoa Curry and I just ordered curry with a spice level of six but it goes to 20 but six people six people six they said it was what you call it so we going to try the curry japanese curry in Japan it is so quiet that is one thing people are like really really serious about is quiet just don’t be the need for all that extra outside i feel like it’s a time and place for noise but America does not understand that they think it’s supposed to be noise like 24/7 loud i don’t know what they think that means it’s very overstimulating but here yes it’s very quiet and maybe you know I think it helps you think [Music] about [Music] [Music] level six it’s a good amount of spice yeah level six spice level six spice y’all it’s not the trains it’s not the trains it’s the [ __ ] Shinjuku station that’s where I keep getting lost at i just came from out there and yes that’s not a it’s not I’m not going to say it’s not torch friendly but you got to know a little something got to be willing to get a little lost to be up in there this is why you stay in centrally located places like I’m staying in Shinjuku which is funny but I ain’t staying in them the park where I ain’t got to take the train unfortunately i’m on my way to my first booked tour it’s a food tour of course i feel like I’ve been here for so long though like I feel like it’s been a while and I’m just now getting into the food tour yeah I’m actually going to get there right on time 5 minutes oh I’m going up 2 minutes late [Music] yes i got 300,000 but if you extra but as fast I know makes sense i came prepared you know like [Music] this one is a wasabi please be careful japanese wasabi quite strong so at first I recommend pick up some small amount of wasabi yeah small amount of wasabi [Music] i’m struggling with these even with the helper [Music] is not enough you need to count yeah two three also the way to cook like those ingredients like a local way you cannot try like the local dishes in the Tokyo or major cities yeah so if you have a chance I want to recommend you try the isakaya so how do you find out how do you find out yeah something that’s good yes i love scallops it’s like one of my favorite shish seafood [Music] look at the bathroom when they say leave I heard rolling up K say leave your fat at home in Japan bro this place Japan is not for the big man is crazy i’m glad I work out i’m not going to lie i’m glad I work out wash my hands in the bathroom but I just had to show y’all the bathroom but yeah I’m in the food tour i think we on our third stop unique Japanese drinking experience is do you remember like a lemon sour in English a short med for unique street [Music] ramen ichiwan ramen it took me an hour to see this just need a little help sometimes just need a little help [Music] oh [Music] I officially navigated the Shinjjuku station back to my hotel um it only took one wrong time but now I’m about to go to 7-Eleven for the first time cuz I’m still hungry cuz ramen do not fill you up it ain’t nothing but a couple noodles and some juice i need some real food going for to give me one of these egg sales [Music] okay I got the goods the 7Eleven goods so we about to see i smashed my egg sandwich what it’s called oh my gosh my camera i thought it was hard i don’t know what none of the drinks are i just go with color i just go off color and vibes color and vibes they healthy drinks okay that’s swallow i get I get the hype got a little sweetness to it and then the white bread it’s so It’s okay okay like I said I’m the vibe for the trip is to try stuff that I would not try so I got the red salmon and salt simple enough it was neat i want really wanted the strawberry sandwich nothing I wanted but I feel like that ain’t nothing but rice some carbs I don’t really need it’s a lot of cuz it’s a lot of rice i feel like this is sufficient okay I have portable sushi good morning morning it is officially full day two in Japan so I’m just getting ready i’m going to go to the Sukiji Fish Market it’s 7:00 i was supposed to be out of here at 7:00 and it’s 7:05 so I’m just getting ready about to take some Tik Tok i’m about to take some Tik Tok comments i mean some Tik Tok content i got a busy day today like that Saturday i feel like whenever like if you want a trip that Saturday always be like the busy day like the busy busy day i’m going to go to the fish market i’m going to get all the little viral foods from the fish market and then I’m going to go to Ginsa and get some Onuka tigers cuz y’all look this is the shoe for today and low key I feel like it’s already hurting my feet i’m trying to figure out if I’m I’m making a bad decision they always already kind of hurting my feet but I’m trying to be fashionable with my street gear but they okay it’s a little tight now where the heck my powder puffers go we need to roll two it’s going to be a little bit chilly today so maybe I should just put on some regular shoes i don’t know i’m excited y’all because look my I picked this hotel because you know it was right by the train station but it’s not the main train station like not the train not the main train line but it’s still a decent line so the line that’s by me goes literally straight to the fish market so I’m excited about that i don’t have to switch or nothing i just get on and then like 11 stops later I get off and then it’s like 400 m like a 3minut walk so I’m excited about it i don’t have to do anything literally walk outside the the door to the train is across the street and I just get on the train so I barely have to do any walking kind of sort of and then and then Ginsza but yes I got the hang of the train i got it’s just that Shinjuku station that Shinjjuku station is just crazy if you could stay out of that one the train system is not that bad but everything is in Shinjuku or is it Shabuya no it’s a Shinjjuku station shabuya is not that bad cuz I got off at Shabuya I think but yeah just going to get some content [Music] we at the fish market first stop i ain’t have to wait that long i’m getting a fatty tuna [Music] let’s see what else we can find i’m looking for the the Wagu look like that’s the station but I don’t know sorry [Music] is 20-minute walk [Music] y’all two hours in line at the uh Onsuzuka Tiger store and they did not have my size and I’m surprised because you know what i spoke up Japan so good about them like knowing everything i feel like they should have like a little thing i’m just I’m upset i’m upset cuz I was like this is the last line I’m going to wait in cuz I don’t have anything else like that I want to do that involves a line like no restaurants or nothing i did the little Sukuji uh Sukuji fish market i had to wait last day there well yes I guess barely but I’m like that was the last line I’m going have to wait in um and yeah they did not have my size and I’m very very sad about that and then I like to get to the train I had to walk past the one that I originally went to and I was I don’t have another line in me i got like one line a day and that was it that took me out so yeah I’m here for two more days before I go to Osaka and I’m just going to fly by like if I don’t if I don’t if I don’t catch them I guess I just won’t catch him but I’m so sad because the yellow ones are so cute the yellow ones are so cute like the it gives like tiger but yeah so I’m just going to sit i have reservations at the soul food restaurant i didn’t care i don’t care like about like finding like the restaurants and stuff like that i be seeing a lot of that on there like advice and stuff i’m going to the sofa restaurant it’s black on we’re just going to sit here but that’s not till 5:00 and it’s only like 1:00 so I’m about to eat this sandwich they ain’t had no more egg salad sandwiches they had what’s this this was pork ham egg egg and mayonnaise pork yes pork ham egg and mayonnaise but yes I’m just going to sit here eat this fine yes I’m wiped out after this morning cuz that was a lot of energy sitting in line for two hours two hours after getting up at like 7:00 to go to the fish market the fish market was fun but I was still standing there but yes like I’ve been on my feet all day and I still got a whole night of like activity my stomach kind of hurt and you know what i feel like it is that wagoo it’s the wagoo but I’mma still go even if I got to eat one thing even if I got to eat one thing I’mma go to the black restaurant and just order one thing just so I can see what a black restaurant look like yeah my stomach kind of hurt it’s not like a or maybe it’s just cuz I ate too much because I did eat a lot today i did eat a lot today i could hold off but I already got the reservation and I don’t want to you know it’s a black restaurant so I don’t want to mess them up oo that’s that acid reflux right there burping up and I know it was that wagoo the wagu is the only thing I’ve had with like grease or oil in it and again that’s why I don’t be trying to do too many fast restaurant so that’s what I’ll be doing that is like like little itinerary and but we know like you know if I walk into something that’s going to be the itinerary so yes that’s what we doing i missed breakfast because I was just catching up i was on the phone i was doing a whole bunch of stuff um I did buy my ticket like I’ve been planning the day the day before out here cuz you know I don’t be knowing i got to feel the feel the vibe so I the main reason for me to come into Japan was to go to the to the World Fair in Osaka so I just bought my Shinkansen ticket i just bought my Shinkansen ticket this morning to the to Osaka um and then I need to go downstairs and extend my reservation for this room because what I do not want to do because I only going to be in Osaka for one day i don’t want to pack up i know people like you can forge your luggage no I’m not doing none of that i’m not doing none of that i’m literally I bought the ticket for early tomorrow morning i’mma go see the fair i only got a one day ticket and then I’m going to take the latest train back here and just relax and then tomorrow cuz tomorrow is my last Well no tomorrow I’ll be in Osaka and then I’ll come back tomorrow night and then Tuesday my flight’s not till 7:00 so I can explore more Tokyo i mean I guess I could have did that in Osaka but I didn’t like being so far away from the airport if you know what I mean like I like being like near the airport i know my flight is late so I’m going just have to come back i’m going to try to see what I can do in Osaka for I’ll be in Osaka for 11 hours cuz my train gets in at 11:00 and then I’m going to take the latest one out which is 9:00 p.m so whatever I can get done in Osaka that’s what I’m going to get done i might just have to come reset cuz I’m still feeling Tokyo like I I’m paying for my mistakes which is not staying in Japan long enough to explore like the different cities but yes that’s what’s on the agenda for today but I’m so late i was trying to get some content but my phone was pissing me off and it’s like not linking with my Apple Watch and if you see have you been seeing me record you know that they are like lifelines with each other cuz I need to see if I’m in frame see if I’m not blurred out but yes I’m liking it i was like debating if I should wear this outfit today cuz I just realized I did not bring enough outfits i thought I was going to shop in Japan no I’m not even a big shopper and I was like “Dang I only got like one and a half more outfits but I got like two days.” So I’m like “Should I wear this or should I wear this this little outfit?” But it’s warmer today so I think I’m going to save this for tomorrow um yeah cuz I can wear with the shoes and I know I’m sure I’ll be walking all day tomorrow at the fair so I’ll need my more comfortable shoes but yep that’s what’s on the agenda for today day three in Tokyo let’s get it if I wrote you a symphony what would you do if I told you you were makeup bag the makeup that I was just doing my the bag that uh of makeup that I was just doing my makeup at the kimono rental i left it at the shoe store and I’m like that’s God i think that was just God telling me that I was not supposed to have it i went to three stores two stores three stores and I didn’t get it and the fact I was like I’mma keep looking in store like whatever neighborhood I’m in I’m going just go to the store but I think that was just God telling me that I was not supposed to have it i was not supposed to have it so now I lost it and I was just telling somebody like the amount that the amount of makeup I lost is about the price of those shoes listen when God tell you something and so I’m really upset about that but you know I’mma just take that L in stride and just you know listen to God listen to God next time he tell me you ain’t supposed to have nothing so I’mma be I’m not even going to be like barefaced cuz let me show y’all what I got cuz me a [ __ ] like me always going to have a little backup always going to have a little backup thank God also y’all know I’m going to Thailand after this i did not bring like a fancy outfit for this dinner cuz you know I don’t usually go on fancy dinners um I don’t usually go on fancy dinners when I go down like places but look I got I got the essentials which is some still some concealer barely it’s something in there i can do a little something something some blush in the eye that’s all I need that’s all I really need cuz y’all know I don’t know how to do makeup like that but I’mma do a little something something but yeah okay let me hurry up because they was tripping talking about make sure you there i booked the reservation through I want to say a concierge service but I hate that to call them that because I was like I don’t know any other way to book it like what other options did I have but to use and it’s it’s nothing in none of these it’s like maybe maybe if I put some water in it but it’s barely doing anything barely doing anything i am so upset because that was a brand new bottle of that was a brand new bottle of uh what you call it foundation and that foundation cost $70 and then it was a brand new bottle of um of concealer and that was $35 right there that’s $100 right there the shoes was $115 i lost about and then I lost what else was in there just the foundation and the concealer and some brushes that ain’t really nothing and oh yeah and then my little ey line thing that was about another $10 like I said yeah the amount of the shoes is about what I lost i’m not even going to do too much i think I’m just going to do my under eyes and maybe my nose i’m really sad so the restaurant that I’m going to tonight is called Umai Sushi it’s a two Michelin star omocas restaurant um and yeah it was expensive it costed a little penny it costed a little penny but I was like that’s going to be like my thing for this trip like to do at least one Michelin star per city that I’m in um that probably won’t happen i think I’mma try to catch one in Bangkok try I’mma try to catch one in Bangkok but uh it’s not going to be like a fancy one it going to be like the the low key one uh JFI if you know you know jfi I’mma try to get that one i’mma try to I don’t even know y’all like when I tell you I didn’t plan I haven’t planned much for this trip like I’m been planning as I go like I just bought my ticket to Osaka earlier this morning i’ve extended my hotel so I could just go to Osaka for the day come back here um because yeah the fact that their golden week starts on Tuesday I don’t have time to be playing with the Shinkansen train that Tuesday um I just don’t and this is the look this all This all I got baby this is all I got i still got the little bun they gave me but yes I am so tired so soon as I come from dinner I’m coming back to go to sleep because I got to be up early cuz it’s going to take it takes like 40 minutes to get to the place wherever I go to main reason I came to Japan for I’m getting ready to get on the train so like I think I said I decided just to book the oneway ticket to Osaka and I’m coming back to Tokyo tonight because my flight to Bangkok is in the morning and I don’t really and then they Golden We start i ain’t got time for all that so um yeah I’m just getting ready um y’all I’m going to wear on Tigers to the fair please pray for me i’m making another bad decision we’re wearing brand new shoes on a day that I have to walk probably the most days but yes so I got the honor of Tigers left lost my makeup bag in the process so it’s like one uh one sacrifice for another um and then last night I was on live and then the girl she was like “Yeah I’m here i don’t have no plans.” And I bought two tickets i bought some tickets when I first um when I first uh booked the trip and stuff and so yeah I was like uh yeah girl you know uh you know I got an extra ticket if you want to come she like yeah it’s whatever she borrowed her ticket and everything so we going to get up at the train station i’m lowkey running late so let me hurry up but yes [Music] a minute since we last kissed [Music] by I made it to the fair it took a little It took a little little lot of something 3 hours to get here we finally here cl in the sky ruin my vibe usually I don’t do this look y’all i finally made it to the World Fair and it is very
