This time, I will introduce 5 interesting restaurants that will open in Awajishima in 2025. I hope it will be helpful for your outing. First of all, a Hawaiian cafe that opens from 8:30 in the morning. A restaurant attached to the resort facility “Awaji Lanikai Square” that opened this spring. A guest-only area. It has a very Hawaiian feel! HINODE CAFE Opens in March 2025. It’s great that it’s open from the morning. I’ll have breakfast at this restaurant. Fluffy pancakes made with eggs and milk from Awajishima. They also have fresh smoothies made with fruit. Croissant morning meal 500 yen. One-coin morning meal. Looks really delicious. Freshly ground coffee has a nice aroma and is the best. I thought it was a good deal to have eggs and bacon for just one coin. Plain pancakes & coffee (morning meal) 1,000 yen. Fluffy pancakes that look just like them! The pancake-like texture that melts in your mouth is very pleasant and makes for a great morning meal♪ Next up, we went to the direct-from-farm market “Minakoikoiya,” adjacent to Awaji Farm Park’s England Hill. The restaurant on the second floor is apparently a new opening this year. The first floor is a direct-from-farm market, where many onions, a specialty of Awaji Island, are lined up . Now, let’s go to the restaurant . The Harvest Food Festival will open in February 2025. The menu will be a buffet of obanzai dishes. “Hata no Obanzai Buffet” offers an all-you-can-eat menu of 15 Minami Awaji obanzai dishes including salad, rice, bread, and soup. All the side dishes look delicious. The obanzai buffet alone is 1,430 yen. This time I went for the course (from 1,760 yen) which includes a “choice of main dish”. The onions are sweet and absolutely delicious (choice of main dish). Awaji chicken koji fried chicken with fragrant sauce 1,760 yen . Deep-fried chicken with a strong flavor that goes well with rice. Freshly fried , crispy and juicy. Second helpings of obanzai available ♡ There was also somen noodles (choice of main dish). Awaji beef and Ebisu Mochi pork hamburger steak with Japanese-style sauce 1,760 yen . A huge onion! I couldn’t take a good picture, but the meat juice was juicy and I was happy to eat a lot of onions. I was also very satisfied with the sweets ❤️ Next, I found another shop with a wonderful location. The journey to the shop was exciting. We arrived ♪ Ö LO CHURRO Opening in March 2025 This is the first fresh churro specialty shop in Awajishima. A cafe renovated from an 80-year-old traditional house. It’s very stylish! It has a very open feeling . By the way, there is also a space where dogs are allowed. Fresh churros made from fried churros without freezing the dough. They also fried them to order. They also had fruit parfaits and French fries made with Takumi Awajishima milk. I ordered fresh churros and a parfait . Takumi Awajishima milk kiwi parfait 650 yen Takumi Awajishima milk soft serve ice cream was super rich. It also came with freshly fried fresh churros ? What is this! It’s fluffy and delicious! Oro Churro (4 pieces) 850 yen Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and chewy . It’s not like a donut, but it has a new texture and is freshly fried, so it was very delicious! The next shop is a cafe that opened in the campsite “FBI AWAJI” on the west coast. Park in the parking lot for the cafe and walk down the hill. After passing the campsite… Cafe ROSA Opened in March 2025. This seems to be the cafe. There was a really wonderful space that looks great. The best terrace seats! They use locally produced ingredients and have an original menu using Awaji Island’s rich vegetables. They offer rare international cuisine from remote areas such as Arabia, South America, and Asia. Smoothie Pink Banana 950 yen Banana and dragon fruit smoothie The color is really beautiful The refreshing natural sweetness is great ✨ Acai Bowl 1,650 yen I’ve been addicted to acai bowls lately It’s full of fruit ✨ It was filling and delicious! This time I had already eaten, but the food menu looked very delicious, so I would like to use it again for lunch. It was a wonderful restaurant with a great location. The last store was introduced in last month’s “Monthly Awajishima” video, but since it opened this year, I would like to introduce it again. Bakery MAHOROBA Awaji Store Opens in April 2025 A sister store of the popular “Night Bakery Mahoroba” in Osaka. They sell bread made with domestic whole wheat flour and homemade natural yeast. The nice smell of bread spreads throughout the stylish and calm store. There is an eat-in space, but there is also a terrace on the roof. It was after the rain on this day, so I couldn’t use it, but it would be amazing if I could eat bread here. Milk France with condensed milk and butter 240 yen. All three types of bread I bought this time had completely different doughs, and the dough was delicious as well as the filling! It was a bakery that left an impression on me.
