Hey everyone! We’re back with the second video of our Niigata 2025 travel series.

In this video, we took a day trip out from Niigata to Yahiko (彌彦) village, leveraging our JR Pass to catch a brief shinkansen journey to Tsubame-Sanjo (燕三条), where we transferred onto the Yahiko local train line!

We had a great time in Yahiko, indulging in the tranquility and beauty of the Yahiko Shrine and mountain ranges (undeterred by some bad weather – heh).

Oh, we also had a fantastic seafood wappa-meshi lunch. So please do come join us on this journey!
