Completed in the 1960s after years of dangerous and intense construction, this dam is not just an engineering marvel but also a symbol of Japanโs post-war resilience.
๐ From June to October, Kurobe Dam releases massive torrents of water, creating a spectacular waterfall-like discharge you can witness up close. The sound, the spray, the power โ it’s overwhelming in the best way.
