European City in Japan – Huis Ten Bosch

🇳🇱✨ Are we in Europe? Nope—this is Japan!

Huis Ten Bosch, located in Sasebo, Nagasaki, is Japan’s largest theme park by area, built to look like a full-scale Dutch town—complete with canals, windmills, cobblestone streets, and even a replica of a Dutch royal palace. In spring, over 700,000 tulips bloom here, and during summer, roses fill the area.
It’s kid-friendly, with Carousells, VR rides, illumination shows and more.

💡 Fun fact: “Huis Ten Bosch” means “House in the Woods” in Dutch and is named after one of the official residences of the Dutch royal family.
