AKIPRESS.COM – Japanese tourist operators are interested in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in tourism sphere, Ambassador of Japan to Kyrgyzstan Goda Hideki said during the meeting with representatives of the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA).
According to him, tourism remains one of the spheres with high potential for Kyrgyzstan. This area is attracting attention at interstate level. The issue was raised including during the presentation of credentials to President Sadyr Japarov in 2022.
Currently, the delegation of the JATA is in Kyrgyzstan for familiarization tour.
“This visit is a good opportunity for Japanese companies to get deeper understanding of Kyrgyzstan. We hope that it will become a step for further strengthening of ties in the sphere of tourism,” Goda Hideki said.
