We Travel Series | Japan Travel Tips: 8 Days 4 Cities in Japan

hey guys welcome to my channel sometimes all we need is just a prompt to connect the dots [Music] late nights above my journey to Japan began with a 4-hour flight from Hanoi to Canai International Airport in Osaka upon arrival I headed straight to the tourist center at the airport to pick up my Osaka Metro Pass which was essential for getting around the city i had also pre-ordered my JR Hokuriku Arch Pass vouchers via Clook which arrived at my home within 4 days for free important note these are only vouchers you must exchange them for the actual tickets at major train stations like Osaka Station i strongly recommend pre-booking as many tickets as possible via platforms like Cluck including train and attraction tickets to avoid long cues i chose the JR Hokuriku Arch Pass because it suited my route allowing me to travel between cities on the Shinkansen and use metro passes within each city the Japanese train system is far more complex than anything I’ve seen even the London Underground can’t compare in terms of sophistication if you’re planning a similar trip do deep research in advance and don’t hesitate to use chat GPT for tailored travel advice since Osaka was our first stop I got an IOKA card at the JR West ticket office near the airport station similar to London’s Oyster card it’s a rechargeable card for trains and buses if landing in Tokyo get a Suika card instead navigation in Japan is made easy with Google Maps which is impressively accurate you can buy a physical SIM at the airport or activate an e SIM upon arrival for internet access in Osaka we explored Doanborei and Shinsaiashi for shopping highly recommend Don Cahodyi a fun and affordable discount store we visited Sutin Kaku Tower and Kuraman Ichiba Market where I enjoyed fresh seafood choose the busiest stalls for the best [Music] quality feel the thrill characters that time can’t kill anime love never fades lost in those bright escapades craving Kobe beef we traveled 30 minutes from Osaka to Kobe for dinner at Kobe Beef Steak Sakura the food and service were excellent though not budget friendly if you are looking for a big meal songs from Osaka we continued to Kyoto a city full of culture and history with a completely different vibe we visited Fushimi Inaritisha Kiomi Zudera temple Nishiki market [Music] [Music] and participated in a tea ceremony and kimono experience at Kyoto Moya it was a highlight of the trip learning the art of tea making then walking the area in Kimono hoping to spot a geisha on our way to work i also loved a local restaurant next to my hotel Donguri Shijokarasuma which served amazing okonomiyaki in private rooms styled like traditional Japanese homes where you order via iPad a charming mix of old and new after Kyoto we took the train to Kanazawa a beautiful and less touristy city we stayed here to access Shurikawa Go a UNESCO listed village famous for gasho zukuri farmhouses with steep thatched roofs resembling hands in prayer some over 250 years old we took a 1 and 1/2 hour bus from Kanazawa to reach the village which felt like stepping into a fairy tale finally we arrived in Tokyo the fast-paced capital full of energy and endless attractions [Music] city comes to life the center of cafe the house like the crossing the heartbeat of the city everything’s glowing looking up the sky flippers brighter than the stars this moment stretching songs feeling it in my heart the wind whispers guiding me to the city of dreams oh Tokyo night shining city light japan is a beautiful blend of ancient tradition and futurist istic innovation where every city offers its own unique charm and character from the kindness of the people to the precision of its transport and the richness of its culture Japan truly leaves a lasting impression on anyone who visits with some careful planning the right transport passes and a little help from Google Maps and Chat GPT Japan can be the smoothest and most rewarding trip of your life like this video if you find it useful and subscribe my channel for more exciting topics to explore see you next time
