Celtic fans are all waiting and wondering when Daizen Maeda will sign a contract extension at the club.
The Japanese forward has been at the centre of some unwanted transfer attention at Celtic after a sparkling season put Maeda in the shop window.
Whilst Maeda is happy at Celtic, it appears that he has embarked on a new career path whilst relaxing back home in Japan.
Maeda appears to have swapped walking out the Celtic Park tunnel to strutting his stuff on the catwalk as the Hoops hero embarks on a new journey with huge global sportswear brand.

It appears that Maeda is now an official model for the Nike sportswear brand as pictures online show the Celtic striker looking dapper.
On a post on Instagram by Architect & Sneakers, Maeda has teamed up with legendary footballer Junichi Inamoto and former Celtic target Ko Itakura to promote the new line in Nike’s sportswear.
The promotion has been described as, “TOTAL 90 III, a masterpiece that once graced the pitch, has been updated in a way that responds to the modern era, and takes a new step to connect the past and the future.
“Resonating with a passion passed down through generations, this product seeks to reiterate its existence. It stands as a symbol of “evangelism,” where tradition and innovation intersect, and transmits football culture into the next era.”
The recent rumours on Daizen Maeda’s Celtic future
Contracted to 2027, Maeda still has two years left at Celtic to win more silverware and hopefully create more history in Europe.
With Celtic telling Fenerbahçe they will take nothing less than £25m for their Japanese talisman it looks, so far, like Maeda is going nowhere.
Having become a father again, Maeda is happy in Scotland and has no real reason to leave so fans will be hoping that when he returns to Scotland decked in his new Nike gear, it will be with a new bumper contract extension.
