in this video I’m going to show you how to spend 14 days in Japan this is a full itinerary of what you can do for 2 weeks in Japan including things like where to go how to get there where to stay and a travel content creator based in Japan and today we are going to talk about how to spend 14 days in Japan the first place that I recommend visiting in Japan is Osaka if you want to know more about Osaka check out my Osaka travel guide it has everything from where to stay where to eat things to do and how to get there but if you want to know how to spend 14 days in Japan then keep watching i’ll be spending three nights in Osaka on your first day in Osaka I recommend checking out some of the most famous places like Osaka Castle Dodori and Shitinoji Temple i also recommend checking out Shinsukai which is an area that was really popular in the 60s it has a really unique vibe and a lot of great food oh and make sure you try the famous Kushi Katsu at one of the many restaurants around here you can also check out some smaller shrines and temples do some shopping and check out the night life don’t miss out on trying some street food while you’re here there are so many different delicious foods to try from takoyaki to okanomyaki ramen and more on your second day in Osaka you should check out Universal Studios Japan usj is one of the best theme parks in the world it has everything from thrilling roller coasters to fun shows and attractions for all ages one of the best things about USJ is that it’s home to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter so if you’re a fan of the series then you’ll definitely want to check it out another must do at USJ is to check out the Nintendo World this is a brand new attraction that opened in 2021 it’s a huge indoor theme park that’s s dedicated to all things Nintendo you can ride the Mario Kart play games with your favorite characters and more the Super Nintendo World is truly a dream come true for any Nintendo fan another popular attraction at USJ is The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man this is a 3D motion simulator ride that takes you through the streets of New York City as Spider-Man you’ll face off against some of his biggest enemies like Venom and the Green Goblin make sure you wear your 3D glasses for this one as it really adds to the experience and on your third day in Osaka you can head over to the Expo 70 Park this is a huge park that was built for the world’s sair in 1970 it has home to some beautiful gardens a lake and the famous Tower of the Sun you can also check out the Osaka Museum of Housing and Living or take a relaxing boat ride around the lake after spending 3 days in Osaka you’ll likely have a few extra things that you want to check out in the Kai region this includes places like Nar Kyoto and Kobe from Osaka Station you can easily take a day trip to any of these places if you have time I would definitely recommend checking out N in N you can see the famous Toji Temple which houses a giant bronze Buddha statue you can also feed the friendly deer that roam the park both of these things are mustos if you visit N you can also check out Kasuga Taiisha Shrine which is known for its thousands of stone and bronze lanterns next up is Kyoto in Kyoto you can check out the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine which is known for its thousands of red Tory gates you can also explore the Arashiamyama Bamboo Grove which is a beautiful forest of towering bamboo you can also check out the Golden Pavilion or King Kakuji Temple which is covered in gold leaf don’t miss out on checking out Gian District which is known for its geishas and tea houses you can also check out the famous Kumi Sedera Temple which offers stunning views of the city and last but not least is Kobe in Kobe you can check out the Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens which offers stunning views of the city in the mountains you can also check out the Kobe Animal Kingdom which is a zoo that’s home to over 100 species of animals you can also check out the Kobe Port Tower which is a landmark that was built for the 1990 World’s Fair but now it’s time to move on to Tokyo take the Shinkansen from Osaka to Tokyo and check into your hotel once you’ve settled in head out to explore some of Tokyo’s most famous neighborhoods on your first day in Tokyo I recommend checking out Shabuya this is the perfect place to start your Tokyo adventure first up you’ll want to see the famous Shabuya crossing which is the world’s busiest intersection you can also check out the Hiko statue which commemorates the loyal dog who waited for his owner at the station for years don’t miss out on shopping at Shabuya 109 which is a huge department store that’s popular with young people you can also check out the Cerulean Tower which offers stunning views of Tokyo and on your second day in Tokyo I recommend checking out Shinjuku this is another great neighborhood to explore and has a lot of famous sites to see first up you’ll want to check out the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building this is the tallest building in Tokyo and offers stunning views of the city can also check out the Shinjuku National Garden which is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the city this garden is especially beautiful in the spring when the cherry blossoms are in bloom you can also check out the Shinjuku Golden Guy which is a tiny street lined with hundreds of bars and restaurants for your third day in Tokyo I recommend checking out Asakuza this is one of Tokyo’s oldest neighborhoods and is home to some of the city’s most famous landmarks first up you want to check out the Senzo Gi Temple which is Tokyo’s oldest temple you can also check out the Nakami Dori Street which is a shopping street that’s lined with souvenir shops and food stalls this is the perfect place to find souvenirs for your friends and family back home you can also check out the Sumita River which flows through Asakuza you can take a boat ride on the river and enjoy the beautiful views after spending 3 days in Tokyo you’ll likely have a few extra days that you want to spend in the area this includes places like Yokohama Kamakura and Hakani if you have time I would definitely recommend checking out Yokohama Yokohama you can check out the famous Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse which is a historic building that’s now used for events and exhibitions you can also check out the Cup Noodle Museum which is a museum dedicated to the Instant Noodle you can also check out the Yokohama Cosmo World which is an amusement park that’s home to several roller coasters and other attractions next up is Kamakura in Kamakura you can check out the Great Buddha statue which is a giant bronze statue of Buddha that’s over 13 ft tall you can also check out the Surugaka Hakimangu Shrine which is a Shinto shrine that’s dedicated to the god of war and last but not least is Hakani akani you can check out the Owakadani Valley which is a volcanic valley that’s known for its hot springs you can also check out the Lake Ashi which is a beautiful lake that’s surrounded by mountains you can take a boat ride on the lake and enjoy the stunning views now it’s time to head to one of Japan’s most famous islands Okinawa you can take a direct flight from Tokyo to Naha which is the capital of Okinawa once you arrive in Okinawa you can check into your hotel and head out to explore some of the island’s most famous places on your first day in Okinawa I recommend checking out the Trumi Aquarium this aquarium is home to over 600 species of marine life and is one of the largest aquariums in Japan you can also check out the nearby Ocean Expo Park which is a park that was built for the 1974 Okinawa International Ocean Exposition the park is home to a number of beautiful gardens as well as a number of museums and exhibition spaces for your second day in Okinawa I recommend checking out the Shuro Castle this castle was once the seat of the Ryuku Kingdom but it was destroyed during World War II and has since been rebuilt the castle grounds are now a UNESCO World Heritage site you can also check out the nearby Riawa Museum of History and the Ryuku Glass Museum and on your third day in Okinawa I recommend checking out the beautiful beaches of Okinawa some of the best beaches include Miyagi Beach Monzamo Beach and Emerald Beach you can go swimming sunbathing or simply relax and enjoy the stunning views so that’s how to spend 14 days in Japan with only 14 days in Japan you will not be able to see everything that this country has to offer so I highly suggest that you pick a specific region and focus on seeing as much of that region as possible you could also consider extending your trip to 14 days so that you have enough time to see everything that you want to see but if you do decide to stick to 14 days then I hope that you have an amazing time in Japan
