Only $10? I Stayed at a Super Cheap Capsule Hotel in Namba, Osaka | Acro Capsule Hotel
I’m kidding. I am now in Osaka. I’m going to stay at a capsule hotel in Osaka now. I’m looking forward to today’s hotel because the price is cheap and it was a hotel that I couldn’t book very often! I’ll be uploading travel-related videos on this channel, such as hotels and transportation, so please subscribe to my channel 🙏🙏. The hotel this time is called “Acro Capsule Hotel”. I will show you the access later, but it is quite conveniently located about 5 minutes on foot from Namba station! The hotel is close to popular tourist spots such as Dotonbori, but the cost of staying at the hotel is only about $10 on inexpensive days, so I expect it to be a very cost-effective hotel. Arrived at Umeda station From Umeda/Osaka station, take the subway to Namba station Arrived at Namba station Exit 24 is probably the closest exit When you exit, it looks like this Walk straight down this road. It’s about a 5 minute walk, so you’ll get there quickly. Ramen shop and takoyaki shop with an Osaka feel This “Dotonbori” sign and Yoshinoya are landmarks After a short walk, the hotel is on the left You will see the word “ACRO” This is the “Acro Capsule Hotel” where I will stay today I can feel the anger of the owner of this building. Let’s have some good manners 😠. Reception is on the 5th floor Looks like you can leave your large luggage here. There’s a lot of luggage. When you complete check-in, you get a card, bag, and an instruction sheet My room today was on the 7th floor, but you have to take the stairs up from the 6th floor 😭 It’s a pain in the ass, so if you can choose, you’d rather have a room on the 6th floor. They said guests on the 7th floor also have to use the luggage storage on the 6th floor, apparently there is no luggage storage on the 7th floor 7th floor is a men only floor Locker area My locker is here Vertical locker. Narrow width. Three hangers. Wire type, thin. The floor from here on is “no shoes area”, so I wear these slippers. Now let’s check out the floor with the beds! Ta-da! Here is the room this time Pillow is thin. Different material on the front and back. The quilt was warm. Might be different material in summer. It’s a hard floor with a slightly thinner mattress. It didn’t hurt my back. This is what the bedside looks like USB port, power outlet and control panel Storage space is on both sides. Tall but not deep. There are ventilation fans on top on both sides. I switched it on, but it’s a little noisy when I’m sleeping I’ll check out what’s in the bag. The bag contains only bath towels and face towels The towels are like this. Not the fluffy type. There are towel racks and hooks in the room, so you could hang wet towels on them to control humidity This is what it looks like when you lie down The height is just enough to reach out. View from room Wash space, shower, and toilet on same floor It is clean This is the shower area. There are four shower rooms All white hair dryers. First type I’ve ever seen. Towels and indoor clothes are returned at check-out. There is a fine if you lose them. Shower rooms are small. Shampoo, etc. provided Toilet is next door Lid does not open automatically Washlet is provided Clean toilets. I’m here at the new Yumeshima station, the nearest station to the 2025 Osaka Expo (at this time, one month before the opening of the Expo). The train design is cool and futuristic I think the Expo will have already opened by the time I upload this video, but I think it’s rare to see the situation a month before that, so I’ll share it today! There are so many turnstiles, and it’s new and clean When you exit the ticket gate, there is a large plaza like this In front of Yumeshima station There is still some fences around the station and the area where you can move is limited Almost the only people in the station on this day are officials. Controversial world’s largest wooden ring. The pavilion inside is not yet complete for some countries. Here we are on the other side of the station. By the way, on the other side, heavy machinery is still in operation and many people are working Are you guys going to the Expo? Are you interested? 🤔 Let me know in the comments! At night Dotonbori is very close to the hotel, so it’s convenient for taking pictures! Too many tourists By the way, there is a luxury capsule hotel near this hotel that I stayed at before and can recommend. Check it out if you are interested! Let’s see the other facilities of the hotel now! This is a shared lounge space Not very spacious, but you can relax here. This is an area for large luggage This is where people organize their luggage and fold their clothes The floor where the reception is located. There are umbrellas for rent here. Common space on 5th floor Free amenities. Toothbrushes, eye masks, ear plugs, etc. are provided Refrigerator available. Water supply machine Drinking in a thin paper cup Not a lot of space here either Microwave and kettle There is also a power outlet so you can work on your computer here The women-only floor is accessed from here. Washing machine (300 yen) and dryer (100 yen for 30 minutes) Detergent is automatically loaded AirPods Pro, an item to prevent noise at night, arrived from Tim It was another good day. Well, good night 😴. ☀️ Good morning Oh, by the way, I dropped my phone and my screen is wrecked. Maybe I’m cursed by Osaka. It doesn’t look like that many people stayed here last night. Maybe 60% or so. Why are you putting onigiri here? I’m about to check out. I have to return this bag and towels or I’ll be fined. In my opinion, I thought it was cosy as it was quite inexpensive considering the location! At my time it was about 3200 yen per night, and there were quite a few days when you could stay in the 2000 yen range! By the way, I saw some days when the cheapest price was around 1,700 yen(11 USD), so I think this is the cheapest capsule hotel in the Namba area. I think it depends on the time of year and the quality of the guests, but if you consider the price, I think it’s a hotel worth including in the list. By the way, breakfast was not provided, so you will have to eat elsewhere And finally, here’s a preview of the next video If you like this video, please subscribe to my channel and like👍 the video.
Until the next video, I wish you all the best! Eat vegetables!٩( ᐛ )و
I stayed at the “Acro Capsule Hotel Namba Dotonbori,” a capsule hotel in the Namba area of Osaka.
There are no special features in the hotel rooms, but considering the location, I thought it was quite inexpensive and cosy.
The rooms tend to fill up quite easily, so it was hard to make a reservation.
