Japan trip ! Chapter 5 : Hiroshima, Miyajima, Osaka, Nagoya & GP 2024 SUZUKA
another shinkansen direction Hiroshima to see the peace memorial museum okay we are in Hiroshima look at this shinkansen how fast it goes yeah now we have to catch a bus to go to our hotel to drop the luggage and we can explore this is under the rain today a lot of rain [Applause] it is what it is we’re going to wait a few moments later we’re almost there at least we’re inside bash a bite and go my whole body filled with roof tiles and pieces of wood were impassible one headed to the river their hair falling over their elementary school had collapsed completely while its pupils remain trapped under these deeply touching stories left us emotionally drained so random after the museum visit we briefly walked through the park but the heavy rain on our emotional fatigue made it a short visit [Music] we unexpectedly met our friend Rishi from Amsterdam in down for the F1 race in Suzuka which was a pleasant surprise amid the somber [Music] day here they [Music] are oh my god [Music] okay it’s already [Music] 5 here we are hotel in Hiroshima very nice hotel so now M is going to take his shower no actually I changed my mind i’m going to take my shower actually we are in such a sketchy place third floor that evening we dined at Pepe a quirky restaurant accessible through a secret elevator and enjoyed delicious okonomia i don’t know [Music] yeah for the next few weeks [Music] so where do we go today mate is still eating as usual something what sanj or something oh no that’s the same ah no the island is Miaima why do we have a different name how is it kiroshima apart from the museum doesn’t offer much as it’s pretty sad to walk in but nearby Miaima Island is a beautiful spot worth visiting we are running like idiots it’s okay they’re going to wait for us maybe oh look at this [Laughter] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] it’s a famous island in Japan known for its floating to gate in the water the symbol of the Itukushima shrine this Shinto shrine is a UNESCO World Heritage site [Music] here is a funny story we learned on the spot miaima is twinned with Mosa Michelle because both are beautiful sides that can be surrounded by water depending on the tides the island is a real gem it’s dotted with friendly and cuddly deers just like in Nara that’s why if you wonder which one is worth it the most definitely go to Miaima miaima is also known for several culinary specialties they have fried oysters yuck and delicious lemons especially in cocktails but the highlight was the maple leaf shaped cakes they come filled with pumpkin haz nut custard cream chocolate matcha etc etc they are so warm and fresh the maple cakes maple cake specialty on this i don’t Oh okay is it good ah nice super tasty [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] while the toy gate wasn’t the most impressive site especially crowded with tourists our favorite spot was the beautiful Da showing temple they all have a little hat this Buddhist temple is filled with little Buddha statues wearing little hats [Music] oh no oh yeah [Music] [Music] even better we embarked on A 2.5 hour track to the Mont Mizen Observatory [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh this is it [Music] the hike was stunning and the final viewpoint was absolutely worth it offering breathtaking views of the bay and its surroundings [Music] so that’s it we did it stop and down for those less inclined to hike there is also a cable car yeah we should go eat and then come back yeah because it’s low tight it’s going to be fire tight in every seconds nice a few moments later finally we found a place to eat another okonamyaki but different this time yum yum really see the This is This Huh what is inside oh even more of Hey no this is my drink [Music] we absolutely love this island and I had to add a new keepsake to my collection oopsie and mate is leading us towards the onigree place the one [Music] After brunch at Onigiri Inaya in Hiroshima we took the Shinkansen to Osaka are we going to Osaka [Music] and stayed at the Sheilax Hotel which lived up to its name by being super relaxed and chilled i have to remove the Oh look at this looks good this one you sure mhm oh wow what a good view we have a good view we have a super nice room look at this view and we are here that’s super cool i love the space i like I like it yeah wow so [Music] unexpected usually after a big big big nap we go out in Osaka to discover the night [Music] life look at this wow [Music] oh no [Music] this city is crazy this city is crazy everywhere people In the middle of this chaos this is the little street I wanted to see so you have apparently all the cosmetics it’s like a museum street this is Osaka before and you have all the pictures of Osaka and at the very very end of this street you have the temple this is exactly what I was looking for oh wow we are again in the covered market all the KitKats you can even imagine gold natural KitKats dark chocolate Kit Kats strawberry Kit Kats all the KitKats what about this i don’t know but they said no a little longer than a few minutes later [Music] wow [Music] later we enjoyed drinks at unique bars was feeling kind of [Music] Woo [Music] oh this is the bridge that we saw earlier you know oh yeah i remember so we are actually on the bridge now you want to cross the busy bridge so this is the place woo okay it’s a robotic arm making your coffee you want to try it seems very cold inside yeah oh you have an underground bar what do we do we go at the top or we go at the bottom [Music] it’s full try this one okay let’s try i think it’s very crowded as well oh well totally different [Music] okay it’s full too bad oh looks good [Music] i think it’s full as Okay so everything was full too bad okay let’s try it felt like we were at the owner’s home [Music] what do we try you have to pick one game [Music] the fingerless [Music] this one doesn’t work i am the Muslim at that exact moment Mate had no clue that this night was about to totally mess up his perfectly organized backpacking system [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] you have to pick why did you have to pick the biggest story i didn’t know it would work [Music] it was our only night in Osaka but it was filled with fun and lo making it a memorable stop before heading to Nagagoya at Suzuka for the F1 Grand Prix 8:00 a.m we are leaving Osaka for Nagagoya for the next hotel it’s quite sunny so it’s a good day but they managed to put the mushroom here that’s a miracle fantastic plastic welcome to the fantastic plastic world welcome to the fantastic plastic world this is recycled material we traveled to Nagoya to drop our bags at Actel Hotel before heading to Suzuka for the F1 Grand Trip from the F1 besides the heavy trips by train crowded like crazy the organization was impeccable it’s so well organized that they recommend us to take the ticket back home right now to avoid the crowd they’re super super nice with clean facilities and a well marked circuit [Music] heat heat [Music] [Applause] [Music] finally at the hotel oh nice bedroom oh look it it’s so cute look it’s so cute with the little TV that’s super nice i like it it’s super cozy shower and dinner or dinner and shower shower and dinner oh wow the next morning look at this that’s the first time we see that in Japan okay this morning we are going to have a little breakfast at McDonald’s because it’s the easy way to eat let’s go for the day two of the race the race day the race day so now we are professionals to find the tickets and to find the I’m still lost i’m still just in F1 gear it’s here have a night byebye thank you byebye [Music] and it’s scoring hot here it’s hotter than yesterday i’m the banana team as you can see [Music] heat heat [Music] [Music] go look let’s go wow that’s super nice meeting up with Rishi again we enjoyed the race enjoyed driving the car despite the predictable red congratulations to Oracle Red Bull Racing and to the second place driver Sergio Perez his equal best ever result here and even try the motorcycle roller coaster [Music] [Music] we ended the day with a fantastic meal at Rocky Canite tamachi tucked away on a hidden street in Nagoya bringing this Formula 1 journey to a beautiful conclusion in the middle that was a good find i’ll give you that i’ll give you that oh thank you thank you is going to do the omelette imagine you you are French or foreigner and you know you don’t know how to cook oh you don’t know how to make this yeah so many that’s ridiculous and we getting the [ __ ] black bean here you know that right this is nice so it’s actually tofu it’s like a silicon car but with tofu it’s really interesting really the day after it was already time to leave the Nagagoya and head to Hak ready for the next step i’m ready [Music]
