Japan Trip – April 2025 – Day 06 – Dotonbori and Baseball #vacation #travel #osaka #osakajapan
hello everyone this is day three of being in Osaka right now I am waiting in Namba station for a couple of friends we’re going to hang out around Namba and then tonight as you can see I’m wearing my Dodger hat and Dodger jersey we’re going to see the Orex Buffaloos at Kioadome so I am super excited to see a baseball game here in Japan it’ll be my friend Emy’s first time ever going to a baseball game so that’s doubly exciting here I am at Namba Station waiting for um my friend and another friend Saki Chan she’s coming up to meet us and yeah it’s going to be exciting it’s going to be fun probably not going to take too much video i left my gimbal at at the hotel room i’m using my phone now but yeah let’s wait for my friends to get here okay so my friends are here there’s Emmy again and Saki Chan show us the shows your your new she has a hat well that was hers that was her hat but straight from Los Angeles and she’s also wearing that in tonight’s game so with the lions with the lions yes yes the orange buffalo versus sab lions we’re going to have so much fun yay so now we’re going to go walk around yes okay so we’re just going to enjoy Namba she’s going to show me around and have some lunch maybe and enjoy the day so here we are my friend took me to this restaurant where they serve hot pork buns it is so good we’re going to eat a lot of little snacks because we’re also going to eat at the baseball game but this this is delicious oh let’s see so here we are having some udon yes with a hidden Mickey let’s enjoy jazz hands after some amazing udon we are here in Doburi this is Osaka’s most popular streets shopping restaurants and it’s very crowded we are in Doburi ah look TV all right after a little sightseeing in Doburi we are here for a baseball game we are walking up We’re walking up to the Kiosera Dome right now so we are here to see the Orex Buffaloos versus a Sabu Lions lions that’s right here we are first thing I’m going to get is a beer and a hot dog cool let’s enjoy the baseball game so we found our seats this is just amazing i’m so happy thank you so much so right now right now they’re announcing the starting lineup and Oh the mascot mascot look at the mascot i got big on hand okay okay go looks great again well the orgs Buffalo’s lost pretty badly in fact they didn’t score any runs the Sable Lions ended up winning the game 5-0 i think the Lions had about 16 hits and the Buffaloos only had four hits with an error bad game um they are still the best in the Pacific League so it was just an off day today but regardless of the loss thanks to my friends it was an awesome day um it was an awesome game i had fun and I actually got to talk to a former Air Force and current naval officer that were sitting right next to us so that was fun um we were talking and yeah it was a great game like I said despite the loss an amazing day thanks to my friend Saki Chan and of course Emmy who lives here um showing me around funny thing is though as a foreigner in Japan I still got home faster by taking the subway than leaving a Dodger game i probably would have been still sitting in the in the parking lot at a Dodger Stadium that’s just how it is but I am here it was an awesome day and tomorrow I take the bullet train to Tokyo i don’t want to leave Osaka i love Osaka i want to come back again so I’m here and I’m going to sign off for the night good night talk to you tomorrow
Day 06: Dotonbori and Baseball
I met up with a couple of friends, one that lives in Osaka, and one that’s visiting from out of town. We walked around Dotonbori, snacked around the streets with Buns, Takoyaki, and Udon, and finished off the day with a baseball game at Kyocera Dome.
