v-log 003: between two cities (fukuoka → beppu)

Nicely packed. And now we got to fit it
all back into my backpack. Enough sunscreen for the day. Enough for my whole life. We have arrived… in… Hakata station. Okay! And now we’re going check… a camera store. Look! That’s what I was trying to explain. You get so overwhelmed by this. Just crazy. Maybe here I’ll find the charger
for my camera. They have everything here! Time to exercise! Kanji. We can cross the street! What were you planning to do? I wanted to take a picture. Come over for a second ~~ What are you going to film? Family mart! Wait! But then we have to try a million things! You’re completely matching with your surroundings! Abunai! Abunai means ‘dangerous’. 위험해 Kokokara Meaning ‘starting from here’. So starting here… But they didn’t really make it very ‘abunai’. “Café de Fan Fan.” Where’s that written? Where’s that written?
– There. “Marché…”, But why so French? “Sakana Marché”. “Sakana” means fish. Hello. Two people. This one looks tasty as well. Is this tea? Iced tea, yes. And what if they take 20 mins
to prepare the food? I just now realised these little baskets
are for bags…. I had been throwing my trash in them… But there was already
a paper in them, soo… That’s gigantic… If you want, you can take some from me as well
‘cause I think I’ll have too much. And then this is for…? The soup I think. Just finished eating. Well,… tried to finish. We have 1 minute left. Just something sweet. Girly got the… Goods. Goodies! Mochi ice cream. Perfect for a Japanese summer day. We’re back at the station. We’re back!!!! Because we need to catch our train… to Beppu!
– At 15h38. We have to take two different trains. We have to… transfer. Okay… All our garbage. It’s nice and heavy again. So we have to go to the 1st platform. Indeed. Can I take your picture later? The sun is shining. Mr. Crab. Crab in the middle of the station. What are they doing?? How should I take the picture…? Oh, now you see our feet! “Eau de Farme: Tear Made.” “Eau de Farme: Tear Made.” We don’t know what it is. Should we buy it? Bon, I will take one at least. I LUV this… time of day. It’s my favourite. It’s so pretty. Look how pretty! I’m going to ring the bell, okay? Konichiwa
– Konichiwa. Just arrived in our second… accommodation. Yes. In Beppu. It’s a very beautiful house but since it got dark already I can’t really show you. The accommodation is run by an old cute couple. And thankfully, Edna is able to speak Japanese. They’re able to speak a bit of English,
but it’s not… very much, so… They’re very sweet, and the house is nice. And I’ll show you the room quickly. It’s a traditional house,
and I at least wanted to sleep in a traditional accommodation once. Now you see our… backpacks etc. As you can see… very beautiful. Then you have this closet. And I think tomorrow morning. You’ll be able to see the window clearly. But, now it’s dark. So you can’t really see. But yeah, You have these windows. Which are very nice. Which are very nice.
I love those. The little finishing… touches here.

Hi, ello!

In this travel vlog, we’re continuing our journey through southern Japan, leaving Fukuoka and heading toward Beppu. On the way, we stop in Muromachi, eat sushi, take analog pictures, and explore a quiet neighbourhood.
Later during a train transfer, we unexpectedly find ourselves in a place called USA, where we run into some crabs and take some fun little photos. Then it’s off to Beppu, known for its hot springs and peaceful vibes.
A relaxed day in transit, filled with small joys and slice-of-life moments.
Hope you enjoy it 🐚
