hello everyone welcome back to the channel today I’m taking you to one of the most beautiful villages in Japan BA if you are a nature lover you won’t want to miss this because every scene is absolutely breathtaking watch till the end to discover a fun fact about BA and enjoy the stunning landscapes volcanic waterfall blue pond and many more through my eyes [Music] [Applause] i headed straight to the information center and found a tourist bus tour with a local guide that covers all the key spots in BA it costs around $40 per person slightly pricey but absolutely worth it [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] my first stop was the Ken and Mary tree one of BA’s most photographed spots it became iconic after appearing in 1970s Nissan Skyline commercial featuring a couple named Ken and Mary which captured the hearts of viewers across Japan [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Applause] [Music] hey [Music] after visiting Ken and Mary Tree and soaking in BA’s natural beauty I arrived at the famous Sevenstar Oak Tree an iconic oak tree that gained popularity after being featured on a seven-star tobacco package in the 1970s since then it’s also became one of the most photographed spots in BA [Music] next I visited Mild Seven Hills gently rolling hills lined with a row of large trees that also became famous in the 1970s the scenic landscape here is a favorite among photographers and perfectly captures the charm of BA [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Applause] hey [Music] [Music] after passing through scenic snowy mountain roads I finally arrived at the stunning Blue Pond known for its mysterious turquoise blue waters and serene beauty do you know this pond looks completely different in every season let me know in the comments when would you like to visit or have you already been here feel free to share your photos with me on Instagram at Milin Smiles and I might feature them in my next video [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Music] [Applause] just a short walk from the blue pond is the Shurogani waterfall it is fed by underground hot spring water that flows from the nearby Tokachidake volcanic mountain range the volcanic minerals in the water not only give the falls a unique appearance but also flows into the BA river this beautiful waterfall and pond are both shaped by ancient volcanic activity [Music] after this beautiful tour I stopped by a pharmacy in PA Town my lips were getting extremely dry from the chilly weather one great thing about Japan is that you’ll usually find a pharmacy near every tourist spot which is super convenient for quick essentials [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] [Applause] [Music] do you know the fun fact if you look closely at these houses in B you’ll spot a year written on each of them that’s actually the year they were built or renovated it’s a common practice in Japan and adds a cool historical touch to even the simplest homes tell me in the comments have you ever seen a place where buildings have their construction year written on them i’d love to [Music] know you might think is BA worth visiting my answer yes it’s like a postcard come to life rolling hills flower fields stunning seasonal landscape to feel the calm the beauty and reconnect with [Music] nature to reach BA you can take a special rapid JR train from Saporro to Asahikawa then transfer to a local train to BA the total journey takes about 2 hours for 170 km and costs around $50 one [Music] way thanks for being part of my journey today if you enjoy the beauty of BA with me please don’t forget to like comment subscribe and share the love so I can keep bringing you more travel stories [Applause]
