Best route offered by a helpful volunteer. “Higshi Uchi Mon” Gate “Gejobashi” bridge. Hirosaki castle. Weeping cherry blossom. “Takaokabashi” bridge. I got lost and found lots of food stalls here. food stalls from all angles! Mobile food stall. apple sherbet
200 yen Hirosaki is famous for apple so I was happy to find this 🍎. “Syunyobashi” bridge. This road is called as Sakura tunnel. Final destination is a heart shape formed by Sakura trees. Location is not published officially but you can just find crowds. View from opposite side. Rairaiken This ramen shop is very close to the park. Ramen
600 yen Dried sardines soup stock. Hirosaki is famous for ramen made from dried sardines soup stock. I could tell why this shops lasts for almost 100 years. Just 3 min walk from the shop. Fujita Memorial Garden Japanese garden next to Hirosaki park. Very spacious garden at downstairs. sound of water. Taisho Roman Tea Room They have 10 kinds of apple pie! Even around noon 🥲 You can at least explore this building. Starbucks Coffee Hirosaki Park Front Limited in Hirosaki. Limited inTsugaru region. A wooden registered tangible cultural property. Very close to Starbucks. Former Hirosaki City Library I started with 2nd floor. 1st floor. Library. Antique chair of the building built in 1906. Miniature Building. Tsugaru Syu Here’s a local izakaya restaurant. Cover charge meal. Local sake! Food menu. Recommendation of the day. Apple Juice Tsugaru Soba Sprout / 350 yen Shellfish grilled with miso / 100 yen “Kuroishi” Tofu / 600 yen Fried minced squid / 300 yen fish cake Natto tempura / 500 yen Grilled Japanese yam / 400 yen It only cost 2850 yen in total ! Now at Hirosaki station. Brick A-Factory I got local apple cidre. Said goodbye to a new friend I met at izakaya 🥲 Off House Hirosaki Off house is a chain second hand store. Animal version of what I found at Neputa village. “Kokeshi”. Matcha tea bowl 🍵 These are all local or Japanese traditional products. Tsugaru’s “kogin” embroidery. Tsugaru coating. There’s more…! Why didn’t I get this matcha container… Another chain second hand store. Pricing was higher compared to off house so I didn’t get any. Came back to Hirosaki park for night light up. Again at Sakura tunnel. Japan’s thickest “Somei Yoshino” sakura tree. Heading to Shinaomori station for bullet train. Shinaomori Station Dreamy vending machine. 3 kinds of fresh apple juice 🍎 I loved Hirosaki from the bottom of my heart ❤️ Luxurious snacks on my way to relative’s house! I will share what I bought in Hirosaki. Apple stick /220 yen each This one uses Fuji apple. And this one uses “Ourin” apple. Apple Spotted pattern / 850 yen apple / 250 yen each AOMORI cidre set / 1980 yen Sweet, Standard, and dry.
