We Found the Most Peaceful Hike in Japan (No Crowds!)
Oh my gosh, she rolled in poop. Did we make a mistake going on this trip? Hi, I’m Ryan and I think you need to go along with us on this trip! Washigamane was such a great hike, as you can see, going up. It was still in the colder months. And the wind was quite violent. But that’s kind of a good thing. Because it was blowing out the clouds. So we had these great views. It’s one of those rare times we’re going to keep the dogs off the leash. We’re on a ridgeline. So there’s no place for them to go. There’s only straight. So they won’t get lost. So some rare times they’re off leash right now. At least they can enjoy it and not pull me so much. So it’s a straight shot up there, as you can see. We made it to the peak. We rested there, got some shots It was such a fantastic hike coming back down again. I was able to bring my echo flow with my hot sandwich maker. Also a coffee maker. We had coffee and sandwiches. And it was such a great trip. Just a reminder, when you do dogs, sometimes you see my videos with my dogs off a leash. That is very rare. I want to remind you that, when you walk with dogs, I’d say, probably 10 of my hikes, only one of them would be off leash. That’s not necessarily for people’s safety. It’s for your dogs’ safety. They can really get in some problems, not only just slipping and falling, but like one of my friends saw a deer, one of his dogs, and took off, and it took us about 10 days to locate the dog because it fell down a ravine. So this is for your dog’s safety, always keep your dogs on a leash. Well, this area is such a fantastic place. Right across the marsh, you can actually go to another place called KurumaYama. Which is just nearby. Also, you can access Utsukushi Highlands, which is a little bit further away. But it’s doable for a day. If you want a day and knock off all three of them, you can do it. So this is such a fantastic hike. Definitely do it. And also, subscribe and share this with other people, okay? It really helps out our channel, please.

About Us:
I’m Ryan. I came to Japan in 1996 and knew nothing about this country. Now, after building my own company, having 2 great kids (whom are out of the house now) and built 2 houses here in Japan, I have a few things to say about this wonderful country. Mostly I have always loved looking for places in Japan to explore and enjoy during the weekends. But most channels, in Japan, spend too much time talking about things that are self-explanatory. I wanted to make this channel to give you a sample of places where you can go with your dogs. Talk about the plus sides and negative sides of the place. Pointers and tips when you get there. Then you can go out and enjoy those places as well. Sometimes, I even like to add cooking and baking items to our videos.
Along the ride will be our 3 retriever dogs, Bobbi, Lily, and Lucy. They just love going out, seeing the world and hiking Japan’s beautiful trails. It seems every year, more and more places are catering to dog families. Letting our dogs go on these adventures helps them, as well as us, with building a lifestyle that is rewarding.
Come along with us as we travel around Japan and finding these little gem areas and making friends along the way.
On my channel, I’m gonna bring you along on some adventures that I go through but in my viewpoint as American living in Japan.
Some of the strange customs and some of the strange items I’ve seen, especially the food.
Along with my wife and my three dogs, Bobbi Lily and Lucy, we’re gonna go on adventures that most of you probably have never seen in my 2006 Toyota Alphard.
let’s get on the road
