good afternoon everybody We are at the Cup Noodle Museum here in Yokohama Japan We got our little Ally and Channer about to go make their own custom looking cup and own flavors Oh here So we’re going to go around tour the museum see what’s going on and show them all the cool fun things And we’re going to go inside up on the third floor and get something to eat That sound good or fourth floor one of those two Third or fourth floor All right let’s get inside Check it out 1,000 yen for all four of us So you can see right there 500 yen and then Tanner’s comes with it So not bad 1,000 yen to go inside And we got a 4:00 reservation for our cup So we got a little bit of time but everybody’s hungry So we’re going to head inside up these stairs and go start looking around So many stairs Tanner is a huge fan of cup noodles He eats them all the time So he’s going to be really excited to check out this museum and all the different variations But everybody you a little hungry let’s go eat some num noms Yeah we got to go to the third floor Fourth floor Third floor is where you make your cup Currently up in the bazaar about to get us some food on the fourth floor Sorry about the confusion earlier Have all the different items desserts chicken ramen mini They got the Malaya So I typically go for the uh Italy pasta It’s pretty good Here we go Here’s some food We got a bunch more over there And we got Ally Hi Ally She wants to go play After the quick meal we’re back where we entered to start our tour of the museum Come on baby Let’s go look Instant noodle history 1958 Tanner’s more accustomed to that cup right there That’s more your style right Yeah And it goes through all the years and the changes and then you get into well nowadays so many options [Music] variations and the story of Mr Ando is along the wall here Um so if you want to go in more detail they do have the scan the QR code and it will uh have an English version if you are looking for English Kids are playing with the interactive wall August 25th 1958 the birth of the world’s first instant noodle This is where uh he started making ramen Huh Is that pretty cool it’s from a little shack Yeah And now it’s all over the world Yep We’re about to watch a movie presentation about the cup noodle history About a 10-minute run time on it Uh it’s uh left side has English subtitles Uh so I had to read those Hold on And we learned something Yeah Did you yeah kind of Did you learn something i did Ollie almost fell asleep in there Um but we’re going to go ahead and walk around to show a little more of the area I have this cool room over here I want to show the kids All right that’s what it looks like on the screen Ally go stand over there Whoa you’re like a giant [Applause] [Music] You’re going to look like a giant [Laughter] Whoa [Music] Good job Yeah Hop in there There you go You got this Currently trying to see if Ally wants to go to the Cup Noodles Park which has a bunch of climbing areas and other things to do here It’s 500 yen for 25 minutes Just wrapped up the kids zone area so I have to go in there with Ally cuz she’s a preschooler But um you go in they kind of go tell you a story I don’t know the story It’s in Japanese but um and then the kids run around after it’s all ran through and then they can play some games on a digital board There’s a spinning room uh some slides There’s like two different styles of slides and supposed to be like the process of making ramen Yeah I was going to say like they go in the spinning room is like they’re being boiled in oil Yeah And then um and then they come down the slide us like a completed package Yeah Yeah So um we are a little while out from making our cup Um yeah there’s not much more to do Uh there is a um make your own ramen downstairs It’s a 90minute experience Um but we got here too late to sign up for that Allie’s also not old enough for that Oh yes you have to be a certain What was the age on that i think it was eight Oh was it eight okay So yeah Also Ally wasn’t old enough Um but yeah you get to do it’s full 90minute You dip it in oil you harden it’s it’s yours to keep after and everything So um so do they consider kids five and under preschool i think so Okay Or six or under Six Six and under Yeah cuz the train pass is six and Oh okay Okay Cuz like Yeah hers is always discounted or free cuz they consider preschool But we’re going to be drawing on some cups in a little bit and we’ll see you when we get down It’s going to be on the third floor Right now we’re on the fourth floor hanging out outside cuz uh it’s a little crowded inside All right it’s our turn to make a cup You ready pick one Pick a cup That’s your cup Woo winner My turn Go ahead Tanner Pick one and winner Ally wasted no time She’s got the drawing going on right there We got some blue Okay Yeah blue like the sky Got the date right here And you can see all the different seasonings we’ll be able to pick And of course all the different toppings you want We got Tanner over here drawing something Oh okay What Shelly got going on over there look at all them flowers She’s got a big old smile This is our arts and craft This is BB’s arts and crafts Is that What is that a flower I’m uh because because this was looking kind of funny So I just went over here with this Oh look at you Ron on the go Obviously my marker smudged there Um and then there’s my N Yep signature It’s free to do Couple flowers and well whatever that happened with that And then Channer’s all done Oh you drew Okay And then Ally still going to town right there Shelly what you got there oh you put your name on it Like I’m going to eat it or something I’m glad everybody got their dinner tonight Whoa look at all our cool cups Next up we get to put the noodles in the cup and then pick our uh seasonings and toppings we want All right go ahead Spin it Keep going Go go go My turn Which one do you want seafood Cup noodle Cup noodle Cup noodle All right Now we you get to pick four toppings Which one do you want you can do double shrimp if you want I want the chicken and shrimp That’s chicken over there Wait So that one Yes There you go What else shrimp How much uh double All right Hey one more Corn No I don’t know Not rocket science sir What do you want that’s the only thing I wanted You want more shrimp though yeah There we go One more chicken How about that all right There we go [Applause] All right Now we’re going to plastic seal it Here it comes Almost there And there And there we go One run on the go cup noodle Oh there’s yours All right Now you get to put it in this custom bag You put it in there And right where the little tab is you’re going to put that in there and then blow it up with air There you go Is it not working oh there you go Nice and full And now it’s protected on the trip back to the house Well that’s going to be it for us here at the Cup Noodle Museum We spent a couple hours here Yep cuz uh times and if you can schedule ahead uh go ahead and do that That way you’re not waiting like two and a half hours for to make a cup But there’s also the other activities to do here as well Did you get to make your cool cup show everybody your cool cup Whoa And it comes in the bag too And you going to eat that later tonight Tanner Yeah That’s dinner for the You going to eat yours maybe I’m going to eat mine All
