On June 10, 2025, Hoogendoorn Growth Management will take the stage at the World Expo in Osaka with its event ‘Grow with Intelligence’. The message is clear: the future of greenhouse horticulture is driven by intelligence and innovation. During this public event, hosted at the vibrant Festival Station, Hoogendoorn will share its vision on autonomous and sustainable cultivation.

The event will be officially opened by Jean Rummenie, Dutch Minister for Fishery, Food Security, Horticulture and Nature Conservation. His presence emphasizes the importance of the Dutch horticultural sector on the global stage. The program will be enriched by a live performance of the Nadeshiko Orchestra — a unique fusion of culture and technology.

Launch of new IIVO feature: Intelligent irrigation
A key highlight of the event is the global launch of a new feature within the IIVO platform. This innovation — simultaneously presented at GreenTech Amsterdam — empowers growers to manage irrigation in a smarter, more autonomous, and sustainable way. The launch in both Japan and the Netherlands highlights the global relevance of this technology.

International collaboration with Japanese partners
Hoogendoorn’s Japanese partners Daisen and Innochio will also take the stage to share how innovation is taking shape in their local context. They will present how they address challenges such as labor shortages, efficient resource use, and knowledge transfer — with a combination of local insights and high-tech solutions.

Open to the public
The event is open to the general public, with a maximum capacity of 332 visitors at a time. In the week following the Expo, Hoogendoorn will host exclusive masterclasses throughout Japan for customers and partners interested in diving deeper into the technology and the philosophy behind it.

Why at the Expo?
The World Expo is a global platform where key conversations about the future of our society take place. Following the success of Expo 2020 in Dubai, Hoogendoorn once again chooses visibility, connection, and collaboration.
