10 Day Northern Kyushu Itinerary: Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Kurokawa, Beppu | Japan Travel Vlog

We recently spent 10 days traveling across Kyushu 🌋 , Japan’s southern island, and it completely surprised us.

From the relaxed streets of Fukuoka, to the emotional landmarks of Nagasaki, the historical charm of Kumamoto, the peaceful onsen town of Kurokawa Onsen, and the steamy hot springs of Beppu, this trip had a little bit of everything.

🚄 Cute trains (Kamome Shinkansen!)
📷 Scenic landscapes, traditional gardens, and even a volcanic view of Mt. Aso

If you’re planning a trip to Japan and want to go beyond the usual Tokyo–Kyoto–Osaka route, Kyushu is a great place to slow down and explore something different.
