10 Day Northern Kyushu Itinerary: Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Kurokawa, Beppu | Japan Travel Vlog
Hello everyone! ๐. (๐ Subtitles available in multiple languages! ๐บ๏ธ)
We recently spent 10 days traveling across Kyushu ๐ , Japanโs southern island, and it completely surprised us.
From the relaxed streets of Fukuoka, to the emotional landmarks of Nagasaki, the historical charm of Kumamoto, the peaceful onsen town of Kurokawa Onsen, and the steamy hot springs of Beppu, this trip had a little bit of everything.
โจ๏ธ Lots of onsen hopping
๐ Ramen, local food & konbini snacks
๐ Cute trains (Kamome Shinkansen!)
๐ท Scenic landscapes, traditional gardens, and even a volcanic view of Mt. Aso
If you’re planning a trip to Japan and want to go beyond the usual TokyoโKyotoโOsaka route, Kyushu is a great place to slow down and explore something different.
โฉ๏ธ Some highlights:
Nagasaki Peace Park & Atomic Bomb Museum
Kumamoto Castle
Outdoor onsen in the mountains
Beppu’s Hell Tour (Jigoku Meguri)
Kurokawa ryokan stay with kaiseki dinner
Local snacks (yes, even horse meat sashimi ๐
)
