Relapse Records signs Japanese goregrind band Festerdecay

Relapse Records has officially announced the signing of Fukouka, Japan’s Festerdecay.

Formed in 2016, the group is currently working on their Relapse debut and follow-up to 2023 release, Reality Rotten to the Core.

Sonically, Relapse says, “the band expands on the framework laid by forefathers such as Carcass, their peers in Pharmacist, Exhumed, and more, producing some of the most disgusting sounds in metal.”

For their part, Festerdecay describe their musical output as “the sound of a soul rotting away.”
