I want to eat more monjayaki!!! I loved this dish so much. The must order is definitely the mentaiko mochi cheese combination. So warm, gooey and savory. I loved monja so much that I wanted to come back but we sadly didn’t have enough time during our trip. ⁣

We went during lunch on a weekday and Tsukishima Monja street was pretty empty. Most of the monja restaurants were able to take walk-ins. Some of the more popular restaurants do take reservations and you can ask your hotel to help you book. ⁣
