Epic Universe Opening Day Was PURE MAGIC ✨ | Full Park Experience!

Welcome to Epic Universe opening day. We are so excited. It is 500 a.m. So, we are going to go get in line for the bus and we’re bringing y’all along for the day. And I’m sorry if this is just like a little bit chaotic and um not like our normal filming style video, but we’re going to bring you along and we’re so excited. All right, let’s go do it. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Happy birthday. Happy birthday. Here to make it easier to get in between all the different parks. We are walking into epic opening day. This is so exciting. Hello. history and amazing travel. Looks like Stardust Racers is just testing. Nobody on it yet. So, the way we are heading is closed off for team members only. So, we’re having to go all the way out and around. So, definitely getting our steps in to start the day. Okay, getting a little bit closer to Super Nintendo World. This is one of the most popular portals in the whole land. A lot of adults have the nostalgia of the games and then a lot of kids are currently playing the games. So, it is very, very popular. Uh, we’re going to try to get on Minecart Madness, Mario Kart, play some of the games, get some food, and just try to, you know, do everything we can in the land. So, bit of a crowd, but it’s a large land, so should be able to hold everybody. So, we are waiting for the opening moments. It’ll be at 8 o’clock. As you can see, quite a large crowd has gathered. But I think no matter where we’re standing, you’ll be able to see the uh you know, whatever they launch up into the air, fireworks, drones, and we should have a view of Mario and Luigi and whoever else comes out with him from the portal. This day would not be complete without you, our fans. The portals to five incredible worlds are ready to be explored. It is time for your epic adventure. [Music] We just had the opening moment for Super Nintendo World. Some fireworks and the characters came out. Me yell it as soon as I walked in. So now we’re waiting to go in the park when they open the gates. I know. Make a [Music] trade. Heat. Heat. [Applause] Thank you. Hi. Good morning. Hi. [Applause] go ride Mario Kart Bowser’s Challenge. We’re using Express Pass here. It’s like a 25minut wait. Um, but we are walking right in. I actually haven’t been through the Express Pass queue. This is really awesome. Look at all this stuff in here. Look at that. All right. What are we doing? We’re riding Mario Kart Bowser’s Challenge. It’s 8:30. We’re not supposed to even be in here until 9:00. So, this is awesome. All right. So, we just got off of Bowser’s Challenge. Now, we’re heading towards Mine Cart Madness. This ride has a unique kind of feature in that the cart doesn’t actually ride on the on the track that you see. is being uh on a lower track that allows you to jump over the water, jump over broken track. Uh so it’s a lot of fun. Pretty tasty right now. And now we are heading towards Yoshi’s Adventure. Yoshi’s Adventures and maybe Yoshi’s Snack Island to pick up a smoothie. The area is definitely getting busier. There’s like a lot of people that haven’t been here yet. Kind of see the smiles on their faces as they look around. Oh, we’ve got a meet and greet with Donkey Kong himself. We’re here at Yoshi’s Snack Island picking up two smoothies. We’re going to get the mango smoothie and the apple melon. So good. So delicious. We’ve had it before. Mhm. [Music] Got an apple melon smoothie from Yoshi’s Snack Island. Look how cute it is. We’re running US adventure. [Music] So, this is Piranha Plant Mishap. You’ve got to turn off all the alarms, snooze the alarms to keep the piranha plant from waking up. It is not easy. You really got to hit them hard. And we tried it the last time we were here and we’re unable to win it. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Looks like Mario and Luigi are meeting. All right, so we just left Super Nintendo Land and heading towards Dark Universe. Uh we’re going to try to hop on Monsters Unchained and just explore the area. Um maybe get a bite to eat. Let’s see how we feel. Heading into Dark Universe. We’re going to see it during the day and then also come back at night when it really comes alive. It’s alive. It’s alive. [Music] We have to go. Yeah, we have to. [Music] [Music] So, here’s the Burning Blade on the Burning Blade Tavern. Wa! Feel the heat. [Applause] [Music] [Music] Yeah. Heat. [Music] [Applause] We’re heading towards Stardust Racers first. Uh we’re going to ride that before lunch. There’s two sides of it. There’s a green side and a yellow side. Um so we’re going to kind of see which one we feel like doing. One’s a little more extreme than the other. So we ended up doing the green side. And boy is it extreme. It’s a multi-launch coaster. Um so right out of the gate, you’re launched twice into some crazy spins and hills and drops and um so definitely if you’re a fan of Veloca Coaster, something like that, or Hulk, um you’ll love this ride. If you’re just kind of a, you know, like regular size roller coasters, regular speed roller coasters, this may be just too extreme for you. So, next we’re heading into the wizarding world of Harry Potter. It says here at the front of the portal, for in dreams, we enter a world that is entirely our own. And you feel like you’re just transported into Paris. [Music] Hello there. Welcome to All [Music] right, we’re going to head towards the goblet Noir for lunch, guys. Everything will be right at the end of day. All right. So, we just picked up lunch at La Goblet Noir. Um, we got the alchemist platter, which is essentially a shuderie board. Um, nothing too heavy. And, um, picked up the noodle soup as well, which is like a moatza ball soup. So, yes, it’s a hot day out, but it’s nice and air conditioned in there, so it’s a perfect meal to hold us over. The salad was good, too. Yeah, and the salad had a salad with the noodle soup. Um, so I would recommend both of those items for sure. Like it’s huge in there. Yeah, it’s very Yes, very spacious. It’s neat to just kind of go in and explore it. It’s kind of tucked away and then um but yeah, great lunch spot. And I think now we’re gonna just explore Wizarding Paris and do some [Music] spells. Look at the little creature. Oh. [Music] Oh, just like you guys. [Music] Okay, so we just wanted to do like an update of where we are in the day. I know it’s been like a little sporadic filming. We We’re trying to like be in the moment. Yeah. Um but we’ve done so much so far. We started in Super Nintendo World, did all of the rides there. Mhm. We went to Dark Universe. We’ve done all the rides there and we’ve done Stardust Racers. So, yeah. I took a little lunch stop and now we’re going to do the other half of the park. Yeah. We’re waiting on Battle of the Ministry to come back or it hasn’t even been up today at all. Right. Still delayed. So, we still have Isisle of Burke and Celestial Park, Constellation Carousel. So, it’s a really good day so far. We’re getting a lot done. We are got more food to try, more butterbeer to consume. Yes. So, yeah. All good things. [Music] Cosmeturs wine wanda shop. Nice. There we go. [Music] I got the Epic Universe exclusive wand. So, you can only purchase this wand here in Epic Universe. It does work at the other Harry Potter locations, but it’s themed to the Phoenix, like the Phoenix Arch when you walk in. Wow, it’s really pretty. This is a second generation wand, so it has the haptic haptic light up effects. It vibrates. It pairs to the Universal Play app so that you can go on adventures in the app. Oh, I love it. We, my friends, have dragons. How the train congratulations guys. Congratulations. [Applause] All right. So, first ride in Isisle of Burke is Dragon Racers Rally. Okay. I feel like we haven’t been updating very well. We’ve just been really busy. We’ve done all the rides, which is actually crazy. It’s like 2:30 and we’re completely done. We’ve done all the rides except for Battle at the Ministry, which is not open. Um, it’s been delayed. It’s been down all day. But I can’t remember the last thing we left off with. I think it was lunch at Lobblet Noir. So, after that, we got wands. We did some magic. Um then we went over to Isisle of Burke. We rode all the rides over there, Dragon Racers Rally. We did Hiccups wing gliders and we did fire drill and then we just got some air conditioning in Atlantic. Um got some water, some club sodas and just like relaxed. Um it was really nice. So, um, we’re going to get some ice cream at Frosty Moon and, um, I don’t know what’s next. We have like the whole day. We’re keeping an eye on battle at the ministry. Hopefully, we get to do that later today. But, um, capacity today is apparently 17,000, which is very, very low. It’s not been that low since team member previews. Um, so I think max capacity she said was like 65,000. So weight times are extremely low today. Um it’s been great. It’s been so much fun. Yeah. Can’t complain. It’s just crazy how like not crowded it is. It just feels like it’s absolutely empty. It’s crazy. We’re here on opening day and Donkey Kong Minecart Madness is a 10-minute wait. [Music] This is like empty. Are you having fun? I am. It’s pretty hot and feel like it’s getting hotter, but I am having fun. How much fun? [Music] All of it. [Music] Oh my god. [Music] Jeremy’s down for the count. He’s taking a little sit down break. Little siesta. Yeah, a little siesta, he says. With a view. I mean, look at this view of Look at this view. Super Nintendo. Not too shabby. Not to be dramatic, but this is probably the last time that Super Nintendo World is ever going to be this empty. I think they’re only going to increase capacity. [Music] It’s It’s empty, you guys. There’s no one [Music] [Music] here. We are going to go try to get into dinner early at the Blue Dragon Pan Asian restaurant. Uh, this restaurant just opened up like a week ago, so I’m super excited to try it. Super excited to sit in the air conditioning for a little bit. So, let’s go check it out. Okay, we had every intention of doing like a really amazing opening day vlog, like keeping up throughout the day. And you guys, it was just really, really hot. Okay, very hot. And Epic Universe is basically empty today on opening day. And I hope we can kind of show you guys that through the video, but I don’t think that this is what the park’s going to normally be like. I think they’re going to be gradually increasing capacity. So, I don’t know how helpful this video is to show you just how low the ride weight times are and just how well basically like we’re just having a dream come true of a day. Yeah. We’re able to walk around a lot of things. Um and that’s just not how it’s going to be. I mean, this park once people find out about it, it’s going to be so popular. Y wait times are going to be long. I would recommend Express Pass. Definitely. We were very, very fortunate today on opening day that they capped capacity at a low number. So, it’s just been an absolute dream. I don’t know what else to say except we just rode Battle of the Ministry for the second time and it’s even better. I don’t have any advice for that ride except that it’s worth whatever you have to do to get on it. Yeah, it’s true. Um, I don’t even know what else we did. We did We did all the rides. We’ve done everything we’ve done. And we saw the Lasserk Arc Canoe Show. Yep. Um, we’re probably going to just go ride Monsters Unchained like over and over again until the park closes. So, I don’t know how interesting that’s going to be, but if we do anything else, please enjoy this [Music] montage. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] N. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Um, and just really getting a true sense of what the park has to offer. Yeah, I agree. I think it was really awesome to have one last day at really low capacity, right? Especially I didn’t think we were going to get to have that after previews, so it’s felt really special. Um, I love this park. I can’t wait to come back. Um, I don’t know what my favorite part was. All of it. Maybe Harry Potter Battle of the Ministry ride. Yeah, that’s true. That’s true. Yeah. But so I hope you found this helpful. Again, it’s just kind of us having the best day ever. It’s the opening day of Epic, and it’s never going to be like this ever again, I don’t think. No, probably not. We woke up extra extra early all in the name of being among the first to step into Universal’s shiny new park, EPIC UNIVERSE. Did we question our life choices while standing in line before sunrise? Yes. Did it all become worth it the second we walked under the giant Chronos ? Also yes.

Here’s how our action-packed day went down:
🚨 5:45 AM: Security line? Already wild.
🎆 8:00 AM: Opening ceremony hits us with FIREWORKS , in the daytime!
🍄 Super Nintendo World opens and we sprint in to explore the land.
🏎️ 8:30 AM: Rode Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge early
🛒 Next up: Mine Cart Madness, smoothies from Yoshi’s Snack Island (because hydration is key), and a scenic ride on Yoshi’s Adventure.
🌿 Tried to beat Piranha Plant Nap Mishap. Failed.
🧛‍♂️ Bravely entered Dark Universe and screamed our way through Monsters Unchained.
🚀 Hit Stardust Racers on the Green Side aka “The Thrill Seeker’s Chiropractor.”
🪄 Headed into Wizarding Paris, ate fancy food at Le Gobelet Noir, and snagged the ✨exclusive Phoenix wand✨
🐉 Flew through Isle of Berk on Hiccup’s Wing Gliders and considered becoming part-time Vikings.
🥵 2:30 PM: Every ride except Battle at the Ministry = DONE.
🌊 Cooled off at The Atlantic (AC never felt so good) and admired the park like proud parents.
🎪 Watched Le Cirque Arcanus, re-rode Monsters Unchained, and ended the day with the ultimate culinary masterpiece: the mac & cheese PB&J cone in the Isle of Berk.

It was wild. It was sweaty. It was unforgettable.
