Fuji Safari Park is a zoo where you can see animals while riding a car in Shizuoka Susono city.

Google Map

Japan’s largest safari. You can observe animals up close by running on a course set outdoors in a private car, a dedicated bus, or a safari navigation car equipped with GPS. There are Gunma Safari Parks, etc., of the same kind, but they are much larger (Japan’s largest), and there are many animals living in the park. Besides walking around by car, there are walking safari (closed in winter) where you can walk around the safari zone and observe animals, and you can actually touch (feeding), open space, and cat and dog houses. In addition, it has a national reputation through TV commercials (described later).

Various events are held in the park, such as photography with a lion kid, an American miniature horse parade, and a reindeer sled (limited time). The private bus is sold out in the morning because it uses a timed ticket system.
