Good morning everybody. It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for. It’s here. It’s Oh my gosh, your voice. We’re going to Japan. We’re going to Japan. Your voice was just fine a minute ago. I know. We have a flight today 11 a.m. out of San Jose, California. Flying to Tokyo Narita Airport. And we are now just 4 hours from departure. Yes. Three and a half. But yeah. You ready? Yeah. All right, kids are you ready? They’re just relaxing, but we’re gonna get all packed up. There’s some airplane noise right there. And uh go grab some breakfast and head to the airport. Grab some cereal, some oat Quaker oat. We get some muffins, some bread. What do you got over there? We got an apple, bagels, yogurt. Interesting. Yogurt. Hi. I went with the very simple blueberry muffins. Ally went with the dry cereal. Dry cereal. Yeah. Tanner went with the cocoa puffs cuz he loves chocolate. Yeah. Same. And we are 3 hours from departure now. You all ready? It’s been a trip already. We went from Orlando to LAX. Spent a day in Al in California or two days in California now. And now we’re heading off to And what are you going to get in Japan? A lot. A lot. 71. She has literally trained the kids at 7-Eleven. It’s everything that is Japan. You okay? Come back. Come back. There she is. Drove over 400 miles in this bad boy right here. Hannah, it did pretty good. It was an interesting car. Would you Did you like it? Did you feel space? It was nice. It was nice. What did you like about it? Um, comfy. Comfy. Okay. The AC was great. Yeah. Were you cold sometimes? No. Shelly, over 400 miles. How would you review the I really liked it. I drove it a teeny tiny bit to go pick up Ron. No, she did not. Yes, I did. And I thought it drove really nice. All right, that’s good. It was good. Good car. Yes, princess. All right. Oh, she got a wiggly tooth. Wiggly wiggly tooth. Show the wiggly tooth. She’s going to lose it in Japan. All right. So, is the tooth where you’re going to bring her again? Yeah. Oh, we’re going to Japan. Of course. Either way, um we’re at the airport now. We’re going to go get checked in and uh get through security and we’ll see you guys on the other side. Super simple process to get through. Like um we’re really early. Yeah. But that’s okay. We found Chick-fil-A. Oh my god, that one. The kids are like, “That’s a huge airplane.” How big is this? That’s so humongous. That’s humongous. So that’s our plane right there, everybody. There we go. Mom, she didn’t say humongous. She said monkey minds and they are like they have I don’t think I’ve ever taken you on a double double aisle airplane. Wait a one word. So this this or that like No, there’s two aisles. Yeah. Yeah, I know. I think I’ve only been on one when I went to Hawaii. Yep. Yeah, that was a long time ago. Very long time ago. I’ve been on like So, uh we’re going to we’re This is the area we’re getting 15 technically on terminal A, but you check in on terminal B. There’s nothing going on over here. And uh we’re going to pretty much set up base right here. Food, drinks, water, cuz on Zip Air, they do not provide those things unless you buy like a meal service or pre-order those things. So, um we did have meals on this flight. We did get the teriyak meal for everybody, which comes with a bottle of water. And and there’s Shelly. Do it for the Instagram. Shelly Ronald go on Instagram. Check it out. Me and Chann are going to go find some food, grab a water or something. Just kind of hanging out. We got about an hour, less than an hour till boarding. You’re going to go to Japan with me? Well, not just me. Mommy and I. Yeah, but like it’s always supposed to be you. Yeah. This my little travel buddy. You’re going to see Tanner a lot. We got Drift Go carton. Yeah. Yep. And what else? Yeah. 7-Eleven. Oh my gosh. So much more to do in Japan. But 7-Eleven. Don’t get me wrong. Love my 7-Eleven. But well, that’s mom’s fault. She got me addicted to 7 whatever. You haven’t even been there yet. Well, she got I know. It’s going to be good, though. We went to Smashburger. I’ve never had a Smashburger before. I know he hasn’t. I haven’t. He’s a smile on his face right now. He says he’s going to drink this whole can of Monster. No, I didn’t. Yeah, you did. He said he wants to be wired for the whole flight so he doesn’t sleep. What? He doesn’t want to sleep on the whole flight. I’m going to sleep like two or three hours. You better not. Maybe even five. That would be horrible cuz then when you get to Japan, you’ll be all tired. Well, I would still have 6 hours to be awake. That’s a lot. Either way, we were just going over time zone differences. We’re It’s now uh just about 10:00 here, 35 minutes to boarding. And uh I was explaining that we’re going to land at 2:00 p.m. And he was like, “So 4 hours later, it’s Thursday.” 2:00 p.m. It’s Thursday in Japan. Uh it will be in about No, it is Thursday now. What? Yeah. Yeah. Time zones and world map. So we’re going to have to work on that with you. Yeah. Well, what I was trying to get at is we’re going to land and then we’re going to go to the hotel cuz we have a hotel first. Yeah. And then we’re going to go around. We’re going to go check some things out. Maybe just me and him. We’ll see how Ally and Shel wants to do. They already said they made just chill when we get there. This kid, no chill. He wants ramen right away. Mhm. And where’s the best ramen? Tokyo. Shabuya. Yeah. Well, he’s my favorite ramen place. But Tanner liked the burger. It’s a little salty though. Taco’s on more of the salty end. Shel got some sandwiches. Yeah, Ally and I went to Firehouse and just got some turkey sandwiches. So, we’re going to be good. I think so. Where’s she going over there? She’s watching The Good Dinosaur. The Good Dinosaur. Oh, on her tablet or on her phone? Tablet. She’s got everything going on over there. All right, everybody. We are 10 minutes from boarding. All right, here we go, everybody. Smile. All right, everybody’s in and ready to go. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] We have cleared customs and are in Japan now. Channer, show them what you got there. Card. Oh, that’s your train card. You ride the train everywhere. But I have to go to the counter cuz Alli is under 6 years old. So, you have to pay for those at the window. So, we got to we got to wait in this long line. Just a little heads up on that. Are you feeling good? A little. Yeah. Everybody’s a little tired now. You slept a lot on the flight, though. I can barely sleep. How was it? How was it? It was pretty smooth. Yeah, it was very hard. There was no Wi-Fi the entire time. They were like, “Oh, you just use the Wi-Fi.” It worked the last hour of the flight. Oh, it worked the last hour. Yeah. I didn’t even get to watch it. I have to move. I try to Oh, so I watched Top Top Gun Maverick. It’s a 2-hour movie. It took me 3 hours. Uh cuz there was a lot of buffering in their system. And then I tried to watch uh something else. I forgot it was Fantastic Beast. And uh I was 2 hours into 35 minutes. So just know that doesn’t always work the best. But um we’re in Japan now. You hungry? No. Yeah, you are. Yes, he is. Everybody just wants to get going cuz we still have a long train ride, but we’ve already been here for about an hour after getting off the plane. He’s got those cute ears. Ally and Shel are just chilling for a moment before we get rolling. We have made it not to the house, everybody. We do not have a house on this yet. We won’t have a house in a couple days. But we are in a very interesting hotel. Um, it’s right down the street from where the house is going to be. That’s the hallway. There’s the kitchen. There’s the bathroom. There’s two really rock hard beds. They are very solid. And then that’s our view of the street outside. So, it’s pretty cool. I I like it. It’s more room than I usually have cuz I usually stay at APA hotels, which are much more confined. So, this is pretty uh spacious. He’s ready to go to sleep. Allie’s ready to go see. Everybody’s already tired. So, I got I’ll do it. I got you. We went to 7-Eleven. We decided to leave the camera, go have a little fun, and uh we got one or two items. Yeah, only one or two. Only one or two. Or how many? Like 15. Oh, you got the peach Fanta right there. Hey. Yes. Princess, I love you. I love you. Woo! That was close. And Tanner, why why did you just get ice? We love ice. No, it’s cuz I was going to pour my drink in here. But it’s already cold. But I’m not. That’s all right. I’m going to drink me one of these bad boys. And then uh I got me some soy chicken. And uh we’re going to get these kids to bed. We’re going to let them sleep a lot. You’re also going to go to bed. And and Shel sleep a lot. Me, I have to do some things before I can go to bed. But I need to get everybody else to bed because it’s been a day. The flight was chill. What do you think of the flight? It was Oh, I think the last 4 hours was so hard. Well, and I tried to watch movies on their the airplane, but it was taking forever. I had like downloaded stuff for Yeah, I usually do. I don’t I don’t know. I was working. It just like the first, you know, seven or eight hours went by and then the last few Oh gosh, just dragged. It’s because, you know, you’re close. Yeah. And then how about the train? Like it’s your first time on the trains in Japan. Yeah. I’m just like really tired. Yeah. So that’s why I’m not going too deep into today. The kids are pretty tired. Be careful. Make sure like we we all kind of feel like kind of dizzy like like when you get off a cruise ship, you know, you’re kind of wobbly. So, it is 7 a.m. I think we’ve been up for about 24 hours. We We got up at 7:00 a.m. Dad, you don’t like this. And uh let’s see. It’s 7 It’s 700 p.m. here, which hold on. add it says 8 a.m. 5. Yeah, we’ve been up too many hours. There we go. I can’t do math right now, but either way, we’ve been up for some time. Tanner’s Tanner, you look like a mad scientist over there with your drinks. He’s been waiting for this melon soda. Oh, the egg salad sandwich. Let’s see what the big height is. That’s a big bite. It’s a big bite. That’s close. That’s okay. You’re starting to smile more. That’s close. Would you eat it again? Yeah. Okay. Then then it worked, mama. And now you pop back on. [Music] Corn dog. All right. And we got corn dogs and stuff. So every not everybody, as you can see, we’re all a little But it was a day of travel. We made it. Everybody’s happyish because everybody doesn’t know where their state is. They’re kind of Tanner slept a bunch on the flight, so he’s a little off. I told you not to sleep on the flight. But Ally stayed up the entire flight and then hit the train and went right out. Yeah, me and Ally stayed up the whole time. Yeah, I didn’t. I slept for 20 minutes, but I just kind of dozed off because I couldn’t get anything to work on my phone. So, I was just like, “Okay.” But, um, yeah, the biggest thing is if you’re flying from the West Coast to, uh, Japan, stay up during the flight. If you do that, your day will be fine, right? We got on the plane at 10:00 a.m. this morning, took off at 11:00. It’s now 700 p.m., and we’re going to go to bed like it’s a normal day. That means when we wake you up tomorrow. Mhm. It’ll feel like a normal day. You like it, mama? Kids are having a great time. Either way, thanks for watching everybody.
