Everything I Ate at Ghibli Park in Nagoya, Japan | #ghiblifood #ghiblipark #studioghibli #ghibli

Here’s everything I ate at Jibli Park in Nagoya, Japan. First, we stopped by the Princess Monoke Village to make and grill our very own Goh mochi. This mochi is different as it’s not pounded together and the rice is wrapped around a stick and covered in the sauce of your own choice. This was delicious. The rice was crunchy from grilling and I love the sweet, savory walnut miso sauce. I’ll do a more detailed review about this experience in a later video. Next, we went to the Transcontinental Flight Cafe inside the Jibli Grand Warehouse for lunch. Here we ordered the vegetable pizza and the sweet bean butter sandwich. The pizza was okay. I wouldn’t get it again. As for the sweet bean butter sandwich, I was worried it was going to be too much butter, but it ended up being perfect together with the red bean paste inside. After exploring the Grand Warehouse, we went to the milk stand where you can buy fresh milk and Siberia sponge cakes like the ones from The Wind Rises. For the sponge cakes, you can choose between a smooth or chunky red bean filling, and we got one of each. The milk came in these adorable glass bottles and was very creamy and refreshing. The Siberia sponge cakes were perfectly not too sweet, and I enjoyed the combination of the red bean and cake

I was super excited to try the food at Ghibli Park! I was hoping for more themed food but I know the park is still incomplete so there is probably going to be more in the future. Fortunately, most of the food was still good and I can’t wait to come back and try more Ghibli food during my next visit. A quick list of everything I ate:⁣

-Gohei Mochi*⁣
-Vegetable Pizza⁣
-Sweet Bean & Butter Sandwich⁣
-Milk⁣
-Siberia Sponge Cake⁣

*There is a set daily limit known as the Gohei Mochi so I highly recommend going to get this first before going anywhere else.⁣
