[Hayabusa] A half-day tour of Aomori and the Green Car on the Tohoku Shinkansen [bullet train]

I came to Aomori to eat seafood bowls. Speaking of Aomori, it’s Nebuta. On the way back, I’m in the green car of the Hayabusa train. This video is the second part. Please see the first part from the link in the description. I would like to do sightseeing in Aomori with a 5-hour stay. 🙏Please subscribe to the channel🙏 It takes 6 minutes to arrive at Aomori Station from Shin-Aomori Station. First, let’s go eat seafood bowls. It takes 4 minutes to walk from Aomori Station. Purchase a meal ticket at the entrance. It is 2,200 yen for 12 tickets. First, get some rice. One meal ticket for a regular serving. Feel free to walk around the market and ask your favorite shop to put your favorite ingredients on it. In addition to sashimi, there is also miso soup, pickles, and side dishes. Unfortunately, the price will increase by ¥200 from May 2025. Let’s eat! My stomach is full. Next is Nebuta. A combined ticket with Hakkoda Maru costs 930 yen. The Nebuta Museum is a facility where you can experience the history and charm of the Nebuta Festival. It introduces the people and towns from the past to the present. Wow! It’s so beautiful and impressive. In the hall with an atrium that goes up to the second floor, real large nebuta are on display. Nebuta have their own characteristics depending on the creator, and each one is different. Next, let’s visit the Hakkoda Maru. The Memorial Ship Hakkoda Maru is a museum ship where the decommissioned Seikan Ferry is exhibited while moored. Admission is ¥930 for both the Nebuta Museum and Hakkouda Maru. The Seikan Ferry is a ferry that connected Aomori and Hakodate for 80 years from 1908 to 1988 , carrying many passengers and cargo. Is it a first-class seat? You can sit down. We have arrived at the wheelhouse. What a great view. We have arrived at the vehicle deck. The feature of the Seikan Ferry is that it has a large space with a track inside the ship. It is a very rare ferry that can carry railroad cars as it is. Speaking of the Tsugaru Strait, that famous song comes to mind. Press the button on the song monument and… Tsugaru Kaikyo Fuyugeshiki (Winter Scenes of the Tsugaru Straits) Lyrics by Aku Yuu Music by Miki Takashi Sung by Ishikawa Sayuri Take a break and get souvenirs at A-FACTORY. That was a fun 4-hour tour of Aomori. Let’s go back to Tokyo. The Hokkaido Shinkansen is stopped opposite. We’re taking Hayabusa 32 bound for Tokyo. Let’s get on. Behind these doors is the Green Car. Today’s seats are here. The reclining is electric. We’ve departed! Distance to Tokyo is 713 km, travel time is 3 hours and 26 minutes. I lined up some souvenirs from Aomori. The train is still empty. The sunset is very beautiful. ♪In-train chime (TR11) (Announcement) “We will arrive at Morioka soon. Please transfer to the Akita Shinkansen, Yamada Line, Hanawa Line, Tazawako Line, and Iwate Galaxy Railway Line. The coupled Hayabusa and Komachi trains run together to Tokyo. In PART 1, we introduced the separation.
