Our freeride basecamp is Aomori Spring Resort, a north-facing, ski-in/ski-out setup with one hotel and no village—just fast access to untracked terrain, storm-day trees, and lift-accessed sidecountry.

You’ll ride in a small crew (max six riders), with a Mint guide who’s dialed into every storm cycle. From the wide zones of Aomori Spring to the steep beech forests of Hakkōda, every day’s about scoring the best snow possible.

And when the day’s done? Hit the onsen, share stories, and reset for the next mission.
