restaurant is built on floating drums offering an incredible Sea View what makes it special not only can you enjoy fresh seafood With an Ocean Breeze but you can also catch your own seafood and they’ll cook it fresh for you [Music] if you’re traveling in a group you can take a special boat ride for rupia 700,000 with an extra charge of rupia 70,000 per person for groups above 11 to enjoy a scenic view of the iconic barlang Bridge from the sea next we check in at batam City hotel a centrally located spot that makes it easy to explore nearby food shopping and and [Music] entertainment after settling in it’s time to relax we head to Kamaya spa for a 2-hour foot massage priced at Ria 350,000 while the Ambiance is great we found the massage pressure to be a little light if you prefer a firmer massage stay tuned for our review of Spring Massage later in the trip for dinner we visit new wior food court a live open air dining spot that comes alive every evening from 400 p.m. to midnight the food court is known for its diverse local delices and nightly karaoke sessions making it a great place to enjoy affordable food and entertainment whether you’re craving grilled Seafood sauté or sizzling hot plates this is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy a casual night out [Music] [Music] day two we start the morning with breakfast at batam City hotel but if you’re looking for something local lanest fish soup at Eastern food court is a must visit known for serving the best fish soup in bottom the freshness of the ingredients makes it a favorite among locals to avoid long wait times visit outside peak hours next we visit bottom Nest a Hidden Gem for bird bird’s nest lovers with prices 30 to 40% lower than in Singapore this shop offers premium double boiled birds nest with options like rock sugar honey gin sing and red dates whether you’re a connoisseur or trying it for the first time bom Nest promises a nourishing and delicious experience for a must by local delicacy we stop by Gia gayer cake home to the famous thousand layers cake also known as qu lapis baked fresh daily without preser conservatives this cake is perfectly balanced not too sweet not too oily while similar cakes in Singapore cost between $60 to $80 G offers them for less than half the price next we visit 70 fit coffee botam a must visit for coffee lovers here you’ll not only taste amazing coffee but also learn about its history a staff member will guide you through the different types of coffee beans even teaching you how to tell the difference between male and female coffee well-rated salon offering professional hair washing with a soothing head massage the Japanese style Decor enhances the relaxing Ambiance with prices at around $12 for men and $17 for women it’s a must try for total relaxation after a busy morning we enjoy a late lunch at banding Resto a cozy spot serving authentic sundanese in Japanese dishes a great place to enjoy traditional Indonesian [Music] flavors next we head to blue fire Beach Club located just a short drive from batam City hotel this Beachside Retreat is famous for its Instagram worthy pink sand tropical Cabanas and stunning sunset views with an entrance fee of just rup of 50,000 you’ll get a free drink while enjoying the beautiful scenery a must visit for those looking to relax by the beach as the day winds down we visit Spring Massage Center just a short walk from our hotel after trying several massage places in bottom we found this to be the best compared to Kamaya the pressure is stronger the techniques are better and the price is lower since this place is often fully booked we highly recommend making a reservation in advance for dinner we head to a two food court an open air food Paradise offering some of the best seafood dishes at unbeatable prices one of the must try dishes is xia Laya or small lobsters cooked with fragrant spices that make every bite incredibly flavorful add a fraction of Singapore’s price pair it with a steaming hot bowl of tom yum soup packed with Tangy spicy flavors that complement the fresh seafood perfectly [Music] a two food court also has a giant LED screen where guests can dedicate birthday shoutouts with pictures and music making celebrations extra special whether you’re here for the food the Lively atmosphere or just a fun night out this is one of the best places to experience Bottom’s vibrant street food scene day three our final morning starts with breakfast at yachin Family Restaurant a teu Cuisine favorite known for its authentic flavors among the must- try dishes is the brazed pig Trot featuring silky soft skin and melt iny mouth tender meat another standout is the deep fried crispy seaweed a simple yet addictive dish for something unique try the coconut curry gravy squid wrapped in aluminum foil where the squid absorbs the rich aromatic Curry for an unforgettable burst of flavor before heading home we make a stop at Grand batam Mall one of the best shopping spots in bottom whether you’re looking for fashion Electronics accessories or local snacks this is the perfect place to grab last minute souvenirs before departure and that wraps up
