20 Unique Things to Do in OSAKA in 2025 π€―π―π΅ (DJI OSMO Pocket 3)
Hey, it’s Gay. Hope you’re feeling cute [Music] [Applause] [Music] today. Osaka isn’t just about to bore and Universal Studios. This city is packed with hidden gems, quirky finds, and must try experiences. From adorable shopping spots to insane Halloween street parties, I’ve got 20 unique things that you have to do in Osaka in 2025. And trust me, you’ll want to stick around until the end because Osaka is absolutely wild during Halloween. And even if it’s still a few months before October, you got to plan that trip right now. Wait till you see it. Let’s start. If you’re a Muffasan girl like me, this place is a dream. Malfisan has taken Japan by storm and their Osaka store is packed with the cutest and most chaotic cat merch you can imagine. Seriously, look at this. You’re coming home with me. If I had no self-control, I would have spent everything that I have to buy everything in this store. Now, if you want to go full gamer mode, head to round one. This place is an entertainment paradise. You’ve got arcade games, bowling, roller skating, and even baseball. Whether you’re aiming for a strike or just having fun, the bowling lanes are perfect for a friendly match. Their arcade has all the machines that you need for a fun time. Classic games, rhythm games, and even those claw machines that we couldn’t resist. Carl and I really enjoyed every second here. It was one of my goals during the pandemic to learn roller skating, but I didn’t really get to pursue that, but this was so much fun for me. Carl, on the other hand, let’s just say he enjoyed doing something more with his hands like this. If you’re feeling sporty or if you want to feel like biguno from Queen of Tears, round one has baseball batting cages, perfect for releasing some stress or pretending that you’re in your own sports anime. Please don’t judge us. It was my first time doing this and our forms might not be right. But it was so much fun and we’d love to do this again. Hey, let’s go. Yeah. Honestly, we could have spent the whole day here in Round One. And if you’re looking for an all-in-one entertainment spot, Round One is the place to be. Whether you’re a collector or just feeling nostalgic, Osaka’s Lego store is a must visit. And yes, they also have Japan exclusive [Music] sets. Now, let’s try our luck with the infamous claw machines. Carl is a master of claw machines in Japan. He has won so many boxes of anime figures, he had to buy a separate luggage just to fit everything. One thing I love about going to Japan is if you watch a recent anime or a new anime, immediately like months after or even weeks after, you can already see those anime figures in claw machines. During this time, Dundad was just released and it was already in this claw machine. Speaking of anime, if you’re into cosplay or just want to have a fun outfit for Halloween, Dendant Town is the place to find the costumes and accessories. We wanted to get something for Halloween, so we went here. Watch till the end to see what costumes we went for. One thing about Osaka, the shopping is unmatched. And yes, this Donkeyote sells Miffy luggage because why not? And today, I let capitalism win once again. I could not go home without this Miffy luggage because girl, it is the cutest. Amedam mura or amura is like the harajuku of Osaka. Even if you’re not shopping for vintage pieces, just being here in this area felt so nice. The vibe was so good. I really love people watching here because everyone is so stylish and I really love their outfits. If Amamura isn’t your vibe, Osaka’s malls have everything from Japanese brands to international fashion. If you’re familiar with Shibuya 109, this area in this mall has like a little Shibuya 109, wherein some shops that are found in Shibuya 109 are also here so that you don’t have to go to Tokyo to shop them personally. After all that shopping, it’s time to chill. Osaka has some of the cutest and most aesthetic cafes, and the next one is one of them. We stopped by Moto Cafe in Osaka, and honestly, I really love this place. It’s right by the river, so you get this really nice, peaceful view while sipping your coffee. And the coffee is also really good. It’s not too bitter, not too sweet. It’s just right. They have signature coffee drinks, and also pastries. The whole vibe here was super chill. It’s the kind of place where you could just sit for hours, people watch, or have a deep conversation. Definitely a nice spot for a date or a slow afternoon. I kind of wish we had a cafe like this back home. This one also in Parkco Mall is an absolute vibe. And it was really nice to chill inside the mall. When we went here, it was early fall, so there were times in the day when it was [Music] hot. Okay, foodies, it’s time for a Doburi street food run. You’ve tried takoyakis, melon pans, and other typical dot bori food, but you cannot leave Osaka without trying this chocolatecovered strawberries in dot bori. Oh my god, I just remembered how good these strawberries were. And the chocolate was also really good. Now I’m craving. And this tayyaki was also really yummy. It was almost midnight and we were strolling around Dutton Bori when we saw this stall with a few people lining up and no wonder because it was so good. I especially love the custard tayyaki. It was one of the best one I’ve ever had. For a cozy meal, sukiyaki is a must. Osaka’s version is rich, sweet, and perfect for cold weather. But don’t go here if you have to go somewhere after unless you want to smell like soiyak all day. But the smell was definitely worth it because it was so good. I know I keep saying it, but these recommendations are ones that we tried personally and we loved personally. So that’s why we’re recommending it to you. I would definitely recommend going here for dinner. And yes, ramen for breakfast is totally a thing in Japan. Early morning ramen. It’s the perfect time to hit up a ramen spot before the crowds. Ichiran might be overrated for some people, but I personally love it. It has that balanced flavor which is perfect for everyday ramen. Not too sweet, so you won’t feel too heavy after eating it, but it will definitely satisfy your ramen cravings. for some late night sightseeing. Chenkaku Tower gives you a totally different vibe in Osaka. It’s old school, neon lit, and gives you a classic Japan feel. Now, if you want to experience Halloween in Osaka without getting lost in the madness, this is where you can chill. It’s definitely more chill than the streets of Doon Bori. And you can enjoy this nighttime view, which is beautiful. But if you love chaos, Halloween in Doton Bori is next level insane. We chose Osaka rather than Shibuya for Halloween because we know that the crowd in Shibuya was going to be wild. But we didn’t know that Osaka was also wild. Cuz where else would you see someone wearing this in person? I definitely had to take a photo in Card Counterter Sakura because she was so cute. And that brings us to the ultimate Halloween experience. Okay, imagine this. You’re in a theme park like Universal Studios Japan. It’s dark and suddenly a group of zombies starts chasing you. Universal Studios Japan go all out for Halloween horror nights. But before that, let’s enjoy USJ during the [Music] day. Had to check out the Demon Slayer themed restaurant. And we also got to ride the VR roller coaster, but we weren’t able to film it because filming is not allowed as usual. Universal Studios Japan always has this anime themed restaurants or cafes, which is really nice because they always get so immersive like you’re in the anime [Music] itself. Here we got to eat this bento box that is full of goodies. [Music] And the drinks were beautifully made. And if you get one drink, you also get one free coaster, which was really good. I ordered this one. And if you order one drink, you get a free coaster. And this is Carl’s order. Who? Thank you. What are you getting there? And now we go to the Halloween horror nights. Universal Studios Japan goes all out for Halloween Horror Nights. I mean, Chucky’s Carnival of Chaos is definitely one ride that you have to try if you’re going on Halloween Horror Nights because the adrenaline rush from running from different dolls. It felt so real. And zombies are not even that scary for me. But dolls, girl, you just have to see this. I mean, I knew that these were real people, but the way that they look was just really terrifying. It felt too real for me, honestly. Wait, that sounds familiar. [Music] [Applause] It was a really nice experience overall and I would definitely recommend it even if you are too scared to do it. It was really fun. I mean, I definitely knew that they were real people inside those costumes, but the costumes felt too real for me. and it was absolutely terrifying. And that’s why this is the perfect way to end a trip to Osaka. I feel like this is the best Halloween that we’ve ever had. And I will never experience Halloween this way again. So, which one of these 20 Osaka experiences would you try first? Let me know in the comments. And if you made it to the end, comment Osaka Halloween Madness so I know you’re a real one. Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and I’ll see you in the next video. Bye. [Music]
