Has anyone imported this into the US? I want to get a RHD evo since most EVOs in the states are clapped up or extensively modified. I see in https://www.nhtsa.gov/sites/nhtsa.gov/files/documents/elig120115.pdf its not on the list of eligible imports but wondering if anyone has tried

Just…. no.
If you’d like a 7 for road use, it can happily find a home along side the other two I’m currently storing for clients in the USA. IF we shop for one early in the year it will keep your storage costs down.
You can start legally importing them in the latter half of next year.
There’s no “trying it” until it’s over 25 years old. And it matters down to the manufacture month.
