Everything I ate in Kagawa! ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿฅฉ

This is everything I ate in Kagawa, Japan. First up is udon, the dish Kagawa is most famous for. Did you know that udon is traditionally kneaded with your feet? The dough is too tough to knead by hand, so I got to step on it myself, and it was so fun. After that, the dough is rested, rolled out, and cut into thick strips before it’s spoiled. One of the locals told me they eat udon for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I totally see why. The texture is amazing. It’s so smooth and bouncy. It pairs really well with some crunchy tempura. Next up, I tried olive wagyu, which is one of the rarest types of beef in the world. The cattle are fed leftover olive pulp, which gives the beef a rich umami and slightly nutty flavor. I loved eating it with sukiyaki and dipping it in raw egg. It was deliciously tender and buttery. Okay, now for my favorite dish I ate in Kagawa. It’s called Honet Sukidori, which is bone in chicken. You can choose between young chicken, which is tender, or adult chicken, which is chewier. I went with a young chicken, and wow, it had the crispiest roasted skin. It was so juicy and succulent that it was literally dripping. It was so good dipping the cabbage and rice in the chicken oils to soak it all up. This was mouthwatering. And finally, I got a Kashawa butter rice bowl. It is loaded with stir- fried chicken and crunchy fish row that literally pops in your mouth. Each bite has a spicy, garlicky, and salty kick. And there’s even a free curry sauce station so you can enhance the flavors even more. It’s such a hearty and tasty dish. Which one of these dishes do you want to try

  6. Hey Lily! I absolutely love your videos! Just had a question (and for anyone in the comments) As someone who lives in Aus, and has been all my life, I'm a little wary of eating street food in international countries bc i feel like it'll upset my stomach. Does anyone know how I can still try all this street food without getting sick? It all looks so good ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ
