Walking Tour to 9 Best Places in Yokohama, Japan with Me!!!!
What’s up guys? How’s it going today? Dto here. Welcome back to my channel. And today um this in this video I’m going to be like uh introducing some nine places to walk in Yokohama. As you know, Yokohama is a like beautiful place to like for like tourists such as Minatina area like here cuz I’m literally in Minatina right now. But not only in Minatoid, but also in like deep places in Yokohama. There’s a lot of places to actually relax, like especially for a walk. And I personally like walking alone. So this video I like to share like as many places that I can pick up for a walk. So let’s go explore together. So where we’re at first heading is Dinko Park in Minto. Okay. So let’s go there. Yokohama is well known for Mintoid area where we can enjoy at the midb park that has various view. Uh enjoy shopping in a mall. Um also there’s many apartment on seaside. So which is basically Matina is really like a beautiful place to visit and really famous to a lot of people where it’s on seaside as well as many apartment. There’s cool area to walk. So now I’m going to take you guys to go there. Have fun. Okay, just made it to Rinko Park which is the first destination out of nine places. Yeah, this park is really wide and because it’s Monday, we got much less people. But this place is actually actually really chill and like uh it’s really romantic, especially at night because we can see like night view from here. Yeah, let’s go explore. As we enter this park, we see the white open area with long trees and gentle stairs like this. Like I said, it’s right next to the sea. So, the wind from the sea is really, really cool. Yeah. Also, probably because the temperature of today is not really high. So, simply it’s not really hot today, but it’s really comfortable in front of the sea. Yeah, it’s really cool, guys. It’s literally in front of the sea. Like, it really smells like salt. Literally, it’s really, really nice here. As you can see, this park is located right in front of the sea. So the viewer from here is so beautiful. The working area right here lasts for a while. So it’s good place for you guys to come to chilling for coffee or tea. By the way, uh you guys uh want buildings shaped, right? This is actually a hotel uh named Intercontinental Hotel and one of this is one of the popular hotels in this area, Yokohama. You know, basically my neighbor only has it’s more like nature like with a lot of trees whereas here it’s literally in front of sea. So it feels really different from what I usually see. So it’s really really comfortable and so that’s all for park and now just we’re going going excuse me now we’re going to a different area near Cup Noodle Museum. I’m not going to go to Caputo Museum this time, but in front of the new museum, there’s like a sea kind of like Rinko Park and like there’s a such a beautiful place to walk as well. Let’s go. So, we can go to the next site using this [Music] bridge. Also, this area is next to the Caputo Museum like this. Just came to a park in front of Cup Noodle Museum. There’s like places for like barbecue up and but the park right here is basically like a little version of like a gold park like Yeah. Right behind me there’s uh the hotel like really kind of weird but beautiful shape. As we keep walking we see a building on the left side which is actually a port. However, we can also get in uh get into enjoy shopping and view enjoy the view from outside. [Music] Okay. So, right now I’m in front of uh Red Brick Bre House House Park. It’s just like there’s some like construction for maybe festival or something. So, like I couldn’t really film as much as much as much as much as much as much as much as much as much as much as much as much as I wanted. But yeah, maybe in summer or pretty soon like there’s going to be some like big festival. I mean, I don’t know. Maybe in terms of music or something like rock. Not sure. I’m going to check it later. But yeah, pretty excited. Yeah. Also, there’s like a big uh like vessel like ship. It’s really nice. Also, in the port in here, like there’s like a vessel like that. It’s really It’s really huge. Maybe I can lift like that. It’s really I never seen the huge before. Oh my gosh. This is a park called Zonohana Park which mean elephant’s nose because the shape of this park from the sky it looks like that. [Music] And this is another port which is called Osam Pashi and Florida on the sea. But we can also go to go there to chill and see a good view on the top of this park. Okay, just made it to Yamasha Park which is a little bit far away from Sakuragi Cho station like I mean also from Rinko Park that we just went to but also it’s still right next to the sea and there’s actually one vessel right there old vessel right there which is not operated anymore but it’s still a symbol of this park. [Music] Even though it’s Monday, like there’s actually a lot of people in this park compared to Rinko Park and like the place that in front of Akalena like red brick warehouse. Yeah. So not busy but like still a lot of people are here. [Music] Here is a garden area with many beautiful flowers and water fountain. Uh really good vibes here. [Music] So that’s all for like Bay Area in Yokohama. And then now we’re going to go to a little bit different side of Yokohama. Let’s go together. Just made it to the next park which is uh the park of sh park of field where we can see like a port which Japanese name is like yeah a little bit. It’s a little bit like far from like the sea, but there’s going to be such a be beautiful view places. Let’s go. We have to climb up to the top of hill. So, it was a little bit hard especially since uh where we just went for completely flat. But here’s you know like we need to we need to climb. So, it was not flat at all. I think here is the top of the hill and there’s a lookout over there. So, seems like there’s such a view, not beautiful view as well. So, just go there to check the view. Damn, look at this. The view is so cool. We can see the far area like the bridge over there. And yeah, there’s some other factories over there. So, it’s so cool here. Also, there’s many beautiful flowers on flowers bed here. Flowers kind of color are so [Music] pretty. Then we have also uh for cemetery next to the park. That cemetery is for like those who settled to Japan in 19th century to the early 20th century and passed away around them. Especially in a cemetery uh many foreigners who committed well to develop the culture in Japan are uh buried. Also here used to be a foreign settlement area. So buildings like here have modern European vibes. [Music] just made it to Mach Park. Uh right, it’s actually really near the min like the park that we just went to. And then the vibus is kind of different from there, but like basically the parks around here have like a modern vibus with like kind of European like uh European American style. Yeah. Because of like some historical background, you know. So also like there’s a lot a little more trees in here than the park that we just went. So let’s go inside. Apart from the park that I I just showed you, this park is a bit more like forest with many trees. The vibes are really cold from here. Uh we cannot really believe we are still in Yokohama, right? Because of the many trees like forest. Yeah. But I like this. It’s really cool. And then this house used to be uman’s home and he was manager of rail silk trading company back [Music] then. So now I’m going to take you guys to the next park. Let’s go. So now we made it to Negishi uh Shind Park. Yeah, this park is really big and like it got much less people because it’s literally like on the on the top of uh like Yamate area. What is interesting is that like there’s actually a place for like US military here like views filters housing maybe uh there’s already no people in the housing thing apparently but yeah uh there used to be like me people in the military living in here so let’s just go inside real quick different from like the parks in Bay Area. There’s no sea around here. Literally, I’m surrounded by a lot of trees. And yeah, it’s temperature is much cooler here. So, it’s really chill. The bikes in here is way more calm and it’s really chill to walk. But instead, uh here is a little bit actually far from the station. So yeah, in terms of the axis, it’s little bit worse, but still like it’s so cool. [Music] Also, there’s actually a horse museum, but just been currently closed for for a little while to renew. So, we’re going to enter for [Music] now. And in the center of this park, there’s a wide open area, and we can probably enjoy picnic with family and friends here. So, did you enjoy this park? Nishini Park. Yeah, which is really wide and like maybe really good for picnic or something. So, now we’re going to go to a little bit deep deeper park in Yokohaba which is more like forest. Let’s go. Okay guys, so now I’m heading to Amayoka Park. Uh actually, which is a little bit far from the center of Okama Lake Minatam area, but still it takes like only 20 to 30 minutes from there in TTO and it’s really cool place because it’s the city the park is really is like surrounded by nature like it’s in kind of calm area in Yokama. Okay. So, this path is kind of narrow. Yeah, I’m getting closer to the park. Yeah, it’s really interesting. It’s been a while since I come last come last came came to this kind of place. Yeah, it’s really I like it. I like this kind of place. So cool. Okay, just made it to Mayova Park. So, just let’s go explore inside with me. So cool, you know. Look at this. Oh, sorry. My camera my camera ski so bad. Yeah, I’m going to buy like uh material. I want to buy like a thing to take a video easier. I don’t know. Sorry. I don’t know what to call in English, but like a selfie stick or something. Yeah. But this park is louder than other park that I just showed you. Um, it feels like forest, more forest than park, but it’s really cool. So, also there’s a parking lot here. So, you can come here by car as well. So this board says uh this area this area can be pumped to keep water if there’s if it’s so big rain if it rains so hard so hard. So yeah, you know right now you know if there’s no water or Yeah. If it’s so rain like heavy rain. Yeah. It could be like a pond to keep water. Yeah. Kind of useful. [Music] So, we’re getting I think we’re we’re getting more surrounded by trees. Yeah. But becoming more different from like the area that we just went to. So, like this It’s really chill. It’s It says like um that roof is going to be repaired. So like in order for like contraction upcoming contraction like we cannot enter this uh we cannot enter to like this bench under the roof. [Music] [Music] ah. [Music] Oh Look at this. Stay away from me, [Music] [Applause] boys. I’m lucky. Hi. Hi. How’s it going? So, the animal that I just showed you guys is a squirrel. uh which is actually Taiwanese squirrel that we can often see in Yokohama. I don’t know about in Tokyo, but like seems like there’s so many Taiwanese uh squirrels in Japan. Like even I can see it in my neighbor. So, but it was really cute because like it was really lucky because like I could see it and really close. Uh yeah. So after like uh going downstairs right now I’m in the middle of rice fields. Yeah. Actually this park has uh rice fields like this and then sometime it opens for every for like some people to experience the the like do like ras rice planting. I have I’ve done it in Nago when I was in the middle school. It was cool but like really hard but I want to try it again. Maybe sometime I’m g try to come here. So really cool. This is how the rice is made. [Music] As you can see there some Japanese traditional houses from [Music] early 18th century. Right guys I came here again. Uh actually I couldn’t take all the parts so I decided to come here today as well. Yeah, you know, there’s a there’s such a good pond. It’s kind of little, but Oh, what is there? Something there. And I’m going to go see it. I kind of hear some animal sounds. I’m going to go see it. Okay. There’s a little pond inside as well, which is really cool. Nice. I just saw that earlier. Like, oh, maybe I was misunderstanding. There’s nothing. Sorry. explain a little more about like uh uh old traditional houses that I went to yesterday like showed you guys earlier. You know the old houses are apparently from early mage era but uh the houses were kind of repaired repaired because it’s pretty it’s already too much old and then right now it’s rebuilt again like you know maybe I think in the late like before 2000 right before 2000. Yeah, I think it’s re rebuilt and like Yeah, if the houses are has been there since then. Yeah. M kind of feel like I’m in kind of countryside in I don’t know canto area like it kind of reminds me of my memory Miko which is in Portugu. I went there like almost more than 10 years ago for like school trip and elementary school. Yeah. [Music] [Music] So this is a junction to go to university directions or another direction. So basically this is pretty much all for this park. So let’s go to the next destination with me. Hey guys, it’s a little bit windy here, but yeah, now we came to uh Enkai in in the entrance of Enkai Mountain and later we’re just going to we’re just heading to uh Kazawa uh nature park. This mountain is located in like Kanagawa Kazawa world is a word kona word and like kanawa nature park is in kind of kada world. So let’s go inside. Can you guys believe we are in uh Yokohama city? It’s really different from you know Mina area as well. Yeah. Let’s get into the forest. Here’s like mountain. So the path is not really flat and not really paved. So in order to go to Canadawa Nature Park, uh we need to go to this way. If we go, excuse me. If we go this way, uh, we can go to Kamakura direction. Yeah, actually we can go all the way to Kamakura on on foot, which is really interesting, right? Let’s go. Okay. It’s even like different from other parks that I showed you, like Mayoka Park for example. Like I feel like it’s this part. This is literally it’s more like a mountain. Yeah, cuz it says like Enkai Mount Enkai which is Enkai in Japanese. But yeah, I like it. But even I I probably I think most of my friends who lives near here don’t really know this kind of mountain exist or they just never come here before which is like yeah kind of hidden gem even to like local people. Yeah that’s interesting right? Yeah, like I don’t know. Uh yeah, but I just wanted to say like there’s this kind of place in Yokohama as well as the amusement place in Yokohama or like a lot of restaurants and stuff. It’s literally hidden gem. Uh even though this place might look a little bit boring and like too much simple, uh I was actually almost addicted to this mountain. Okay, where we’re currently going is this park which is you know Canada park like means nature but not only this park like you see here there’s several other parks as well like including like a forest. Yeah, but this time I’m not going to go to like all the places in this map. But if you guys are interested in like the other places like this, just yeah, try to go there. I’mma go there sometimes again as well maybe cuz I never been been to like this kind forest yet. Oh, I just found a bird cast bird casting station in this mountain while I’m walking here, which you know it’s just really high. Kind of looks like in a Tokyo Tower, but this is like a broadcast station of uh FM radio. Yeah, I guess. Oh, seems like it opened in like long years ago, like Shawa era, even before hes. Yeah, it looks old, but it’s really cool. It’s pretty. This is like a tunnel with a lot of like narrow trees. Narrow trees kind of located like really like this. Yeah, channel consist of nature. It’s really cool. Yeah. Whenever I come this kind of place, I can de decrease the amount of stress I have, which is really interesting like which is really good. Yeah. So, you guys need to come here if you have if you’re kind of stressed from like work or I don’t know school and something. Yeah. Just come come chill here. It’s a best spot I [Music] guess. So, I just came down to the end of one of the end of the forest and now I’m going to go to the nature park in Canada, like Canada nature park, you know. I want to go down here and then uh turn right and then go straight until the until I reach the park. There’s not so many but some bugs flying around here including mosquitoes. So, it’s a little bit annoying, but yeah, once we get used to it, this is like I said is a really perfect place to chill. Yeah, I’m already addicted. Yeah, this is new hobby. I already like walking, but especially maybe I get to like I would get to like walking in the mountain like this. So in a sense this is an entrance of uh Enkai mountain from uh Kanagawa direction. So I actually came I was like this mountain from like direction especially direction like direction but it was a little bit far to reach the reach the start of the mountain. like it might be better for you guys to come from like kind of the uh Bo stations or maybe no station stuff and then yeah I will attach some map later but like this is a uh entrance of mountain from like [Music] Canada already chilled. Yeah, there’s so many bamboos here. So pretty. Like, you know, we can see here the sounds of the bamboo like kind of touching together a little bit. Seems like some bamboos got kind of broken, like crashed, like u I can hear the sound like that. But really, really cool. Okay, so just made it to uh Canada Nature Park. So now I’m going to just go explore inside. Let’s go. There’s actually a zoo as well as park in here. Uh but I’m not going to zoo this time. So I just remember the zoo is here. Uh the road is kind of paved here. Walk here just went [Music] through. Also, I see more people in here than the mountain that we just went. Also like some of them that I see here are young whereas like all the people I saw in the mountain are kind of older. Yeah. So I was the youngest one. But here I don’t know maybe some of the people that I see here are even younger than me. Yeah. [Music] Maybe. Yeah. Sorry guys, I’m getting tired. It’s so steep. Somehow it’s more It’s harder than Enkai Mountain so far. Oh damn. But we can see like scenery from here. So cool. But it’s so hard to climb. Maybe I just have less energy. But it’s so beautiful, right? [Music] Okay, just made it to the lookout. See see here. Yeah. Is this like where we can [Music] view like area? [Music] Yeah, okay. Actually, maybe another 30 minutes until close. Let’s go. Keep walking. All right. getting a little bit dark with more trees like kind of like a mountain that I just went to. It sounds There’s also flowers back too. Yeah, they’re so pretty which already closed like 10 minutes ago. [Music] there. This is pretty soon. Yeah, I thought that was the entrance, but actually entrance is over there. [Music] Yeah, there’s still some children like playing here. There. There’s some equipment to play for children to play around which I think I’ve been I’ve been there before long time long years ago when I was in L school also like from here like the scenery is so cool as well. [Music] Yeah. So I feel like this park is more for like family than like people like older people. Yeah. The equipment for children. One of the big one you can like see. One of the big one right there is was a slide. Big slide. Yeah. Was it was so exciting. I can’t remember the moment. back to 10 year more than 15 years ago or something. Okay. So, I’m done with having I’m just going down. So, I’m going to just go down to the amp. Yeah. I was just told to like get out of here in within 10 minutes like until by 5 p.m. So I just rapidly go down. So yeah, that’s all for that kind of nature park. All right, we just got out of the park. So now I’m just going to uh um no coin which is like a sea park in the seaside of Canada area. Let’s just let’s go. So finally just made it to Umi Mcen which is like sea park and the seaside of Kanazawa. I came here from all the way to from the nature park which took about took me like 40 minutes from on the walk to come here but eventually made it completely different from like the mountain. It’s because it’s the seaside. I can see like a lot of people are just enjoy walking here or like uh running or maybe some people are just you know playing some sporting here like I don’t know valuable catchable stuff whatever the view from here is so cool because this this park is connected to sea like the [Music] It’s kind of wide, more wider than a nature park and the mountains that we just went. So, people just enjoy running here, walking here. Maybe I think more people are just riding here like with like high speed. So, thanks for watching this video and I hope you guys understand really much about Yokohama, especially the places to walk that I just shouldn’t like introduce to you guys. Yeah, if you like my channel, please subscribe my channel and like be excited about upcoming videos. Thank you.
