【ホテル超詳細レビュー】食事・温泉・景色、全部ありでこの値段？大江戸温泉物語Premium 白浜御苑の１泊２日宿泊記

Report on my stay at Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Shirahama Gyoen. I am currently traveling in Shirahama, Wakayama. I am on my way to the hotel where I will be staying tonight. I am staying at Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Shirahama Gyoen. It is one of the hotels I have always wanted to stay at. The hotel will be reopening in December 2023. The interior of the building has been completely renovated. I am looking forward to seeing what kind of hotel it is this time as well (^^). As for the location of the hotel, take the Meiko bus from JR Shirahama Station and get off at the Higashi Shirahama bus stop for about 10 minutes. It is about a 1-minute walk from there. We are about to arrive at the hotel. Wow. The exterior is very beautiful! The hotel has a main building, an annex, and a glamping area. Let’s go see the glamping area first. That’s the glamping area. Here is an example, but the inside looks like this. There are bicycle rentals. Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Shirahama Gyoen Total number of rooms: 115 Large public bath: Yes Parking: Yes (free). There’s a lantern! There’s a Japanese garden (^^). The parking lot is right next to the hotel. Then we go to check in. It’s very beautiful (^^). There’s a detailed explanation. Meal times are decided when you check in. Check-in is at 15:00. This area has the atmosphere of an elegant inn. The lobby is large and has high ceilings. It was relaxing. It seems there’s a garden, so let’s go there. There is a massage chair, but it’s paid. There was a full-fledged Japanese garden here. It has a Japanese inn feel. There’s a lantern here too. There’s an objet d’art hidden there. From here you can go to the annex. You can stay in the annex with your dog. And there was a foot bath here. You can use the foot bath while looking at the garden (^^). And there are towels for the foot bath. It’s easy to use. There is a premium lounge in the lobby. Soft drinks and coffee. Teabags for tea and tea. Red and white wine. And alcohol. There was beer, highballs, etc. Since it’s Wakayama, there was plum wine (^^). And there was a yukata corner. The very back is the karaoke corner. This is also by reservation. From 19:00 there is a fee. It is 500 yen per person for 60 minutes. And there is also table tennis. It is free to use. We also had some plum wine (^^). Next, we went to see the second floor. There is a large public bath on the second floor. There are various facilities on the second floor, including a large public bath. There is a bedrock bath! There is an internet corner. Wow. This is a ceramic foot bath. It is covered with ceramic. When you enter, it feels warm. This is the massage corner. It is all free to use. What is this? Othello! There are Yogibo?-like cushions. There is a vending machine corner here. There is ice cream! At the very back, there are vending machines for coffee milk, etc. There is also a microwave here. There is a foot reflexology corner! It looks painful on the left side ^_^; It really hurt when I walked on it (＞＜). Further back there is a manga corner. There is also a kids’ corner. There are picture books and other things. And there is a Japanese-style space. There are a lot of these cushions. And this is the large public bath. I will go in later. Next to it is the relaxation area. There is a rock sauna further back . It was really nice that you can use the rock sauna for free (^^). There are 20 rock saunas and it is spacious inside. You need to make a reservation and write your desired time on a form. It is first come first served. This is used after the rock sauna. It is a cooling room to cool your body. They provide rock sauna wear. You can change in the changing room of the large bath before using it. The rock sauna is first come first served. I recommend coming to make a reservation after checking in. And then there is the post-bath lounge. There is a space where you can relax after your bath. You can use this until midnight. The room has a wood grain pattern and a bright feel. This room has also been renovated. The inside is very clean. It is 34 square meters, so it is spacious. The ceiling is high and the space is spacious. The view that I was most interested in was the view. There was a washroom here. It’s good (^^). Ocean view. A great view that blows away stress (^^). The sea breeze is also nice. And right in front of me, I can see Hotel Kawakyu. It looks like an old castle floating on the sea. Below me I can see the glamping site I mentioned earlier. There is also a roof, so it’s fine even on rainy days. And there is an open-air bath. There is also a space to cool off, which is great! . From here, I will introduce the room in more detail. Introducing the facilities. Let’s go back to the entrance and introduce it again. The entrance is also a spacious space. There is a shelf to store shoes here. There are slippers for use in the building. And here is the toilet. The toilet was a shower toilet with a washing machine and was clean. There was a cabinet here. An insect killer, a phone. There was a stylish room light. There was deodorant spray and tissues. When you open the cabinet door. There were cups, tea, and a kettle . And on the other side. There was a security box. The futon was cushioned and comfortable to sleep on. There is a mattress underneath. This time I was alone, so there was only one set. There is also space to lay another set of futons. And here is the space to relax. There is Ryukyu tatami mats. And you can watch TV comfortably from the sofa. You can watch terrestrial digital TV. The free WIFI in the room is 49 Mbps and can be used without stress. There is a hotel guide on the desk. There are various remote controls. The air conditioning is individual. You can set the temperature to your liking. Next, let’s go to see the sink area. There are various things around the sink counter. A hair dryer. Cups, toothbrush set. And you can use POLA face wash. There was hand soap. There was a towel rack and a refrigerator below. The refrigerator was empty. And behind that. There was a space to store clothes. There were face towels, bath towels, and obi. There was also a hanten. There were shampoos here too. It was from the Orange Rose series. It is a brand that is characterized by the refreshing scent unique to citrus fruits. The open-air bath was made of ceramics. It had a tasteful design. I am 173 cm tall. It was big enough for one person to relax in. Unfortunately, the water was not hot spring water. There were also buckets and bath chairs. There was also a chair and table for after the bath. I was able to relax here (^^). There was a pillow so I fell asleep ^_^;. I never expected to see such a reclining chair (^^). The only disappointment was that it was hard to see outside when I lay down. This view was soothing (^^). Now I’m going to the rock bath and large bath that I have reserved. The souvenir shop was open. There are also many pandas and kagerou here. The Kishu-ni scallops look delicious. There are many famous products of Wakayama. As expected, there were many panda designs on the miscellaneous goods. I headed to the large bath. There was a cleaning robot. I changed into my bedrock bath clothes. I changed in the changing room of the large bath. Well, I’m off. There are 20 bedrock bath booths. Healing music is playing. I feel so good I fall into a deep sleep. If it’s empty, I can use it as many times as I want. I used it twice. Next is the large bath. There are two, “Hakubai” and “Kobai”. They are alternated for men and women. This photo is Hakubai. The open-air bath is an open space surrounded by greenery. I was able to relax. This photo is the indoor bath of Hakubai. The floor is made of tatami mats. This photo is the open-air bath of Kobai. The open-air bath was large. And this is the indoor bath of Kobai. This is also made of tatami mats. A famous hot spring with a long history, counted among the three oldest hot springs in Japan. I was able to enjoy it to my heart’s content (^^). I had an ice candy. The lying down area. Paradise! Beer too. The beer here was Asahi Maruef. The wine was Chilean. Let’s go back to our room for a bit. We also took a bath in the open-air bath in our room. With this chair, it wasn’t a pain to wait for the water to fill up. I looked up at the sky and could see the moon (^^). It was so pretty! The water filled up. Bathing while listening to the birds singing was the best stress relief (^^). It was about time to get ready to go for dinner. Hotel Kawakyu was orange with the sunset. The venue was on the third floor. It seems we could enter now. The entrance was surprisingly small. The seats were unreserved. It had been renovated. The venue was very clean (^^). Now let’s take a look at the buffet! First of all, around here. This was the tempura corner. Next to it was the prepared food corner. The hot spring steamer corner. There was meat, seafood, vegetables, etc. A turban shell! We put them in this bowl. There are a few side dishes. This is the sashimi section. There is tuna and sweet shrimp. There is seared bonito. And sushi. There is “Meharimakizushi” which is a local delicacy. There are more varieties than other Oedo. I wonder what they have here. They have beef curry. They have rice dishes here. Local gourmet. They have Wakayama ramen! And Western and Chinese food. They have steak! You can also eat as much sirloin steak (meat injected with beef fat) as you want (^^). There are many local gourmet dishes around here. This is chawanmushi with Nanko plums. There are also seasonal specials. This is the salad section. Next is the dessert section. They have granola and other things. Homemade apple pie. Bite-sized cakes and roll cakes. There is fruit. There are also dumplings. Onsen steamed pudding. And there is soft serve ice cream. There is also Haagen Dazs. From here is the drink section. Finally, there is the alcohol section. This is charged. It was 2280 yen for 90 minutes. His knife skills were amazing (^^). You can’t go wrong with the classic sweet shrimp (^^). We also had seared bonito! And steak! The venue was very spacious. There was also terrace seating outside. It looks like it would be nice if the weather was nice (^^). We got a lot of different things (¨̮). There was a wide variety of items on the buffet, so it was hard to decide. Firefly squid and wakame seaweed in vinegar, steak. Seared bonito. Tempura, sashimi. Raw tuna nigiri. Chawanmushi with Nankou plum. And side dishes. Meharimaki sushi, Sanma sushi roll. And we got steamed hot spring seiro. The fun of making the hot spring steamed food yourself is in the buffet. The fun of being able to choose is in the buffet. It was very fulfilling with a lively atmosphere. The food made with ingredients unique to Wakayama Prefecture was delicious. Among them, the tuna was delicious. It was very fresh. It looks like it will be steamed soon. It looks delicious–. The ingredients were shrimp, pork, sausages, turban shells, etc. Many of them seemed to be popular. Since they were steamed, you could taste the original flavor of the ingredients. I chose sesame sauce. They also have ponzu and rock salt. Turban shells. Turban shells are big. I had a hard time getting the insides out ^_^;. They’re so big! . The steamed turban shells have a strong flavor and are delicious. I got dessert! . Haagen-Dazs and dumplings. Ume Kuzu Manju. Onsen steamed pudding. Seasonal dessert. Crema cotta, matcha roll. I got baked cheese. Among them, this “onsen pudding” was the best. It was delicious. This pudding is rich. It melts in your mouth (^^). It was so delicious that I ate three (^^). Perhaps the taste is doubled when steamed in the hot spring. We finished with coffee. It was a buffet that combined deliciousness and fun (^^). We went to the premium lounge. It was quiet at this time. It was lit up. The garden was lit up and was beautiful (^^). We had a beer. We went back to our room. Hotel Kawakyu was also lit up. It’s nice to be able to use the open-air bath whenever you like (^^). This space was especially nice. I’m going to sleep now. Good morning. I’m going to breakfast now. The breakfast venue opens at 7:00. There was another entrance. It was in the same place as yesterday. Let’s take a look around. First, let’s start from around here. There were Western dishes lined up here. There was French toast with wasanbon. And this is the salad corner. Next, let’s look around here. There was a corner where you could make plum udon. Next was the Nokkedon corner. You can make Nokkedon using your favorite ingredients. Complete the bowl. And then the bread corner. There was also a dried fish corner. You grill it yourself to finish it off. This corner has rice and miso soup. There are also side dishes to go with the rice. There was also sea bream broth chazuke. There is also beef curry. This is the corner for desserts and the like. There were shumai. There was fruit. There were also bite-sized cakes. There was soft serve ice cream, just like dinner. There was also baby food. This is the soft drink corner. The rolled omelet looked delicious (^^). It’s nice to have a corner where you can make your own food (^^). I tried making plum udon. I took a lot of different things! . The breakfast was also very filling. The topping bowl is Oedo’s specialty (^^). This is my first time eating plum udon. The dried fish is grilled on a hot plate. The morning buffet has many standard menu items. Everyone liked it. Among them, Oedo’s standard menu item. The topping bowl can be made to your liking. It is a menu with originality. I tried putting some satsumaage on top, as it tastes better when warmed up (^^). It’s almost done. It’s delicious when it’s freshly made (^^). We got dessert! Wasanbon French toast, cake, fruit, and soft serve ice cream. The croissant was very crispy. And the main dish, French toast, was made with Wasanbon, so it had a mellow and elegant sweetness. It was nice to be able to enjoy soft serve ice cream in the morning (^^). We finished with coffee. Thank you for the meal! We returned to our room. We stayed in the open-air bath until the very end (^^). This was a healing space for me (^^). It was time to check out. We left our luggage there. We got our 100 yen back. We paid by machine. Checked out. How was it? It was one of the best Oedo hotels we’ve stayed at so far (^^). The whole hotel was clean. There were many facilities that could be enjoyed for free. There were 20 rock sauna booths, which was especially great! There was a lot of tuna on the menu. There was a repertoire of local delicacies, so we were able to enjoy Wakayama delicacies. The view from the room was also outstanding. The open-air bath and reclining chairs were relaxing (^^). It had been a while since I last visited Oedo, and I had a great time!
