Expo 2025 Osaka Day Trip | Global Pavilions, Gundam, the Grand Ring & Live Performances

I spent a day at Expo 2025 Osaka, and it turned out to be one of my favorite parts of my Japan trip.

On the day I went, I reserved a noon entry slot since the morning ones were already booked. It was a perfect sunny day, luckily not too busy, and full of energy. I had just enough time to wander around the Grand Ring, catch a few live performances, explore a handful of pavilions, and even lucked out with a reservation at one of the most popular ones.

If you’re planning to visit, you can book one pavilion online ahead of time, and another once you’re inside. Things fill up quickly, but if you keep checking, you might get lucky.

The day ended with a beautiful drone show lighting up the sky. Even though it was only one day, it felt like I experienced a little piece of the world.
