Eating Unagi at a 150 Year Old Restaurant, Atsuta Horaiken in Nagoya, Japan | #unagi #nagoyafood

I know the line looks intimidating but my taxi driver was correct and this was absolutely worth the wait!! Atsuta Houraiken is famous for their Hitsumabushi which is an unagi rice set that you eat in steps. It was so fun trying all the different combinations with the eel rice and it almost felt like I was eating a four course meal! The unagi here is delicious; so soft and slightly smokey with a yummy sweet and salty sauce. They have multiple locations across Nagoya with shorter waits but we went to their original location. ⁣

  1. Eh moment I saw the English words on menu that tells ppl 1. It’s a now a tourist trap leading into 2. Over charge for tourists/foreigners unaware of it and any locals in past get pushed out because of it. So yeah this is a past.

  2. Yeah I'll definitely give that place a visit right after I take my private jet to the effing moon 😂

Jokes aside, the video was quite enjoyable and earned you a sub. Maybe just come down to earth and meet your audience at our level. I love shorts like this because of the vicarious nature, not because I'm planning a dream trip.
