This bakery just opened in April 2025. It is a sister store of the popular “Night Bakery Mahoroba” in Osaka. The breads are made with domestic whole wheat flour and homemade natural yeast, and they all look so delicious that it’s hard to choose. The delicious aroma of bread fills the stylish and calm store. The eat-in space is also open and lovely. By the way, there is a terrace on the roof. It was unfortunate because it had just rained, but next time I’d like to eat here ♪ We moved to another place and ate the bread we bought. Milk French with condensed milk and butter 240 yen The more you chew, the more the sweetness of the wheat spreads. The three types of bread we bought this time all had completely different doughs. Soft-boiled egg curry bread 400 yen I enjoyed the various textures, from hard to chewy to fluffy. This is a seafood restaurant run directly by fishermen. You can eat extremely fresh seafood delivered directly from the port in front of the restaurant. A ramen luxuriously filled with sea bream broth and sea bream meat. The soup is clear and the thin straight noodles are well mixed with the soup. The moment you put it in your mouth, the aroma of sea bream spreads and then the salty taste gradually kicks in. Simple, yet luxurious! It was full of flavor. The sashimi in the seafood bowl was also extremely fresh and plump, especially the shrimp and sea bream, which had a nice bite to them. Adding yuzu to the ramen made it into yuzu salt ramen, which had a great flavor. Let’s head to our next destination! This shrine enshrines Izanagi no Mikoto and appears in the Japanese myth of creation. It is said to bring good luck in matchmaking, marital harmony, and safe childbirth. I found the Leave 21 “Hair Gratitude Monument” so I stroked it 🙏 At the back of the shrine grounds is the sacred tree “Meoto Okusu” This sacred tree is made of two camphor trees tied together at the base. The trunk is over 7 meters around and is said to be about 900 years old, creating an overwhelming presence. It is a power spot on Awaji Island, and it was a shrine where you can feel the history and nature, and it is a place where you can relax. Our next stop is a nearby place where you can enjoy tasting and shopping. Tako Senbei no Sato 13:50 We can see it! The very popular rice cracker factory✨This is a large direct sales store with a wide variety of rice crackers, mainly octopus rice crackers. It is a popular stop on Awaji Island drives, and the wide variety and prices that can only be found at direct sales from the factory are attractive. There are so many varieties, but I recommend this one for souvenirs♪ There’s a lot insideAnd here, you can sample almost all of the productsI got a lot–I got greedy and couldn’t decide which flavor it was lolAnd , in this space you can drink coffee and tea for freeIt ‘s the perfect spot for souvenir huntingNext , I’d like to head to a sweets shopThere were two routes on Google Maps, so I went through a mountain path, but this way is easier to understandHowever , this road that appeared on Google Maps was also beautiful and pleasant with greeneryAt the end, we drove a little through the mountains, but the shop at the end was really wonderful14 :35Arrived. I found the signWalking down the alley was so beautiful, I just loved it! Nora, Island Blessings GelatoThis is a gelato shop that is only open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. You can enjoy gelato made with freshly squeezed milk from Awaji Island, fruits, and vegetables.I decided to eat inside the shop, but the inside of the shop was also amazing. They also sell miscellaneous goods that are super cute . Everywhere you take a picture, it’s beautiful. Double gelato 750 yen. Beautiful containers and presentation ❤️I chose chocolate and custard. The gelato is made with carefully selected ingredients, such as custard made with free-range eggs and raw cocoa beans, and the flavor was rich and delicious. This is an island delicacy where you can really taste the premium milk and strawberry milk ingredients ♪ It was really delicious and the shop was great, so I’m glad I came ✨By the way, a set drink is +300 yen. The glasses are super cute ❤️It was fun to find such a great shop ♪ Now, the next destination is the last one. A must-see spot for sweet lovers! A shop with souvenirs and snacks Awaji Okashikan 15:15 Apparently reopened on January 2, 2025, the 300 square meter store has about 200 souvenir items and over 400 snacks. There were also outlet products delivered directly from the factory. There are a lot of souvenirs, so it’s a good idea to buy souvenirs here! The snack corner was also insanely large! And here is a free drink corner. There was also oshiruko and onion soup, and I was excited and having fun♪ By the way, I got some rusks and walnut mochi without a box for home use at a very low price. I also bought some octopus crackers, so I don’t think I’ll need to buy snacks for a while lol This time, I was able to enjoy the charms of Awaji Island to the fullest!
