2025 World Expo in Osaka
Barabi-chan, the Baltic Pavilion’s mascot for the World Exposition in Osaka, stands alone (left photo) on May 16 following the unsolved disappearance on May 13 of Myaku-Myaku, the expo’s official mascot. Information about the suspected theft spread online, and the pavilion was soon flooded with replacement Myaku-Myakus donated by visitors.
