This fantastic sight called “Misotsuchi-no-Tsurara (Icicles of Misotsuchi)” is located in Oku-Chichibu, the mountainous area of Saitama Prefecture. The bitter cold winter of Oku-Chichibu freezes the spring water seeping down the riverside rocks, building magnificent icicles. Colorful lights add the final touch to this winter magic.
Illuminations for 2018 are scheduled from January 13th through February 12th, between 17:00-19:00 on weekdays, 17:00-21:00 on weekends and holidays.
