Japan is preparing to open a new nature adventure park called Junglia in Okinawa, one of the country’s most popular islands. Aiming to capitalise on Japan’s growing tourism industry and showcase Okinawa’s natural beauty, the park will welcome visitors starting July 25, 2025. It is expected to attract both international and domestic travellers.

Junglia Okinawa: Rides, attractions, and other details

The immersive, large-scale theme park is located in the Yambaru Jungle in the northern part of the island, promising a variety of rides and entertainment options for the whole family.
Spread over 60 hectares of an old, unused golf course, this nature adventure park will feature more than 20 different attractions, including a Dinosaur Safari, treetop walks, buggy rides, and even a hot-air balloon ride.

Guests can enjoy a spa facility featuring an infinity pool that offers stunning views and restful therapies for well-deserved rejuvenation.
There are also plenty of activities to engage children, including a hunt for a lost baby dinosaur, a spectacular fireworks show, and an interactive forest exploration session.
Other attractions at Junglia Okinawa include a vibrant water festival with music, a giant swing, a suspension bridge high above the treetops, and a human arrow attraction that launches participants upwards.
For those seeking a break from the activities, the in-house shops and eateries provide the perfect opportunity for dining with a view.
